I was not expecting to say this but it was actually a deserved win. Twente only had two chances and their goal came off a hopeful punt into the box. It’s good to see Ajax keep a team quiet, even better that it was the current #3.

I had to check the date when I read this but it’s currently April 2nd. Apparently Alex Kroes has now been fired for insider trading, because he sold shares in Ajax before his appointment was made public. What on earth is going on with this club.

Ajax put away two of their three chances but otherwise they are *just* defending. The problem with that is that they concede chances anyway. Just hoping PEC don’t have the quality to score twice.

I’m actually not sure whether a lot of new players will be brought in over summer. The squad is large and there are players who have very little prospect of playing time so I’m expecting a net reduction for next season. Also, how is Ajax this bad? Is it partly luck? Sparta didn’t even put them under that much pressure and they still concede two goals. What a season it has been.
