Linderoth is an ok player that seems to be rising with the occasion every time Sweden plays big teams. He's a good runner and destroyer. He's not much of a talker and his passing could definetly be better. We wouldn't get many assists from him is my guess. BTW, welcome Norway. Always nice to get new...

Or is the problem with another blind man on the side of the pitch? Yes, Blind is also a very big problem. A much bigger problem, in fact, and that is why we will discuss Blind much more frequently than today's linesman. But the fact that Blind is a problem does not mean we can't discuss the fact th...

Luck, no luck. Fortune, misfortune. Deserved, undeserved. 8 chances versus 9 chances. We played against the number 16 of the standing!!! I know. I'm not saying it was good (or even anything close to that). However, I am pretty convinced that Ajax would have wrapped it up by the 70th minute if it wa...

Good golly!

Three points.

That's about that. Happy to see the Hunter keeping the scoring ability despite going to our team. Attack doesn't really seem to be an issue anymore.

HA HA HA. Guys, come on. DOn't you think I anticipated these replies? You're sooooo predictable :D . You all make sense. I just wanted to throw some gasoline on the fire. P.S I still think it's just a matter of time though. If Zlatan can keep the same level he's at, he will have accomplished as much...

That is actually a good choice for a coach...Jari Litmanen, the only drawback is, like Blind he lacks experience, and he maybe Great on the field but what about when he is in the dugout? :bis: Jari is a bit quiet for me. He may become a good analyst, perhaps a second fiddle, but to me he doesn't ha...

If you ask me, Stam deserves the armband, not Sneijder. I think Stam will insert discipline to this young team. He needs to earn it first. I don't give a f&ck what he's done before, you don't make captain until you've earned it. I might be totally off here...but what about......damn. Do we not have...

You cant really compare Rosenberg and Zlatan, because they are two different type of strikers, the former is a poacher and the latter is a kind of a play maker, evidently the amount of his assists says it all. Rosenberg is like a smaller version of van Basten, While Zlatan is a smaller version of B...

Rosenberg will never, even become like Zlatan. :nooo: Even if he bags 20+ next year. No shit. I'm sure Per wasn't comparing the two either, but just pointing out the facts. That's correct. I was merely having some fun with stats. People are wuick to praise Zlatan for his years at Ajax, the last gre...

Regarding old pals: Our friend Zlatan broke a no gaol spell of two months yesterday. He's had a rought time for a while, with some arguments within theam and a read card in the cup. Seems to be on his way back now though. On another note regarding Zlatan: I just read that he scored six (6) goals dur...

dws. I have difficulties seeing Co Adriannse as the only guy around who can coach along some set lines and have a clear idea of how to play. I think we've got a few toher choices without a history at the club. You're right about van Gaal. I'm wrong. Then again, if you ask van Gaal about his second s...

OPH, not going to disagree with any of your comments about Urby. IMO he has been the player of the season by a mile so far but because of the lack of a naturally left sided player in front of him to offer cover when he does go forward that whole side of the pitch is exposed. This is not the fault o...

From staff and board thread: I've said it before and I'll say it agin: No recycling coaches! (that means no Co Adrianse). Why? I'll continue this here instead. I think that Ajax the last years have had an incredibly inconsistent way of thinking when it comes to who's good enough on the pitch. We hav...

And one more thing, no guy that's "AJAX", but has no coaching experience. We need a solid tactician who can work with the material.

First goal from F-word looked like offside to me. Second goal was poor defending and marking. Third was pure class. Gotta give 'em that. We scored two goals away at Feyenoord. That is really good. Our habit of conceding 2+ has to go if we want a shot a fifth place. Listen to that: a SHOT at FIFTH pl...

Re: Nando Rafael

Always painful... A story on Nando Rafael, with a picture of him wearing the jersey of Germany... It's a good read, though on UEFA.com). http://www.uefa.com/competitions/Under21/news/Kind=1/newsId=390058.html K. Didn't we actually have a gentlements agreement about getting him back? I was very often impressed by Maxwell. He also seemed like a very humble person that showed the way on the pitch throufh playing well more than anythin else.

You need those kind of players as well in a team.

Hats off Maxwell! Hope you get all you want out of your future carreer.

Blind promised to his players: no more 4-4-2. :eusa_naughty: However, that's no guarantee that he couldn't change his mind. If there is one thing that's more ignorant than not having priciples it is never breaking them. LOOK AT THE RESULTS! Goddammit, are we going to finish 10th this season or what?

There is only one person at AZ we need and he is not a player. Van Gaal should be brought back. Might not be popular but who cares . If there is one thing I feel Ajax are doing too much is, going back and forth with players. In or out, who knows? The management and training seem to redecide every o...
