There are always lots of good old days, when it comes to Ajax. How about a bright future for a change?

Zlatan is nowhere near his best at the moment. And I don't think Capello is too fond of him either, even though he would never show it to the media. The fans were whisteling at Zlatan yeasterday as well, and I wouldn't be all too surprised if he leaves after the World Cup. The price will be high tho...

Pires...?? Haven't heard any such thing over here and to be honest I can't imagine that it's true. It would be a step back for Pires and he's still quite a superstar over there, isn't he? Why would he voluntarily accept a salary that is less than 50% of what he's making now? K. I was very surprised...

As I watched Juventus get kicked out of the Champions League yesterday, the swedish commentator said that dutch sources indicated that Arsenal's Pires was almost ready for a transfer to Ajax in the summer.

Do you have any facts about this? I've not heard or read anything about it.

I had the exact same thoughts yesterday. I watched the game, saw Lyon get closer and closer to the semi-final spot, but kept telling myself: "It's Milan. I know they'll score." Even as 85 minutes had passed, I still knew Milan would make it. And the player I dislike the most, but still have to admir...

Per or Jacobg might have a better site I'm sure but this link is for internet highlights of the Allsvenskan (seems to have seperate clips of every game !). If you play around with it a bit you'll probably find the Royal League. I hope your Swedish is better than mine though, I found this completely...

I get "ajax-usa.com" domain has expired, and is under renewal or being removed, or something like that.

Does that mean that ajax-usa will be ajaxusa.com only?

Ireland 3-0 Sweden.... thats odd the swedish dont concede a lot of goals per game, its been a while since i've seen them get beat by this type of margin. Strange. I watched the game; it was probably the worst one the Swedes have played for years. As long as Zlatan was on the pitch, Sweden had some ...

I think Jakob was kidding... If not, he's one serious nutter. :D I was indeeed kidding. I actually saw Bergdölmo play a game recently, and he was slow as hell. ;) A youngster next to Stam is exactly what we need. Just like Chivu was the youngster next to Bergdölmo. The only problem is that we don...

Let me see.... As of now we have Emmanuelson, Trabelsi and Grygera as very good players. The problem is that the last two of them will probably be in England or Italy by the summer break and Emmanuelson is more of a natural midfielder... I think the situation could be much better, ayup... I underst...

Ah, wonderful! Danny Blind has admitted that he hasn't made up his mind yet as to whether he will play with Juanfran and Urby on the left flank, or with Urby at left-back and Boukhari as a left midfielder... Gimme a flippin' break! Juanfran has been a little bit shit in recent weeks, I will admit t...

I don't really fear Adriano and Martins that much right now. They haven't been good lately. However we must NOT give Inter free-kicks near our penalty area. Adriano is super dangerous on those right now.

This is actually a quite interesting issue. Think about how many players there are, only at Ajax (but of course in other teams as well) that have been considered very talented, but after some bad games, they've been dropped out and never really made it back. That can turn a players career into shit....

Charisteas and Babel can be backups. I think Charisteas is the most unlucky man at Ajax now. I still can't see what major thing he's done wrong this season. Mind you, same story with Escude. I don't think anyone thinks he's done much wrong. Ajax just belives more in KJH and Rosenberg. Simple as that.

I guess I'm the only one, but I can't stand Gronkjaer. Every time I've seen him play, he's wining, diving, and elbowing opponents. He seems a total punk. If he did sign with Ajax, I suppose I'd have to get used to him. I'm with you! He's not my favourite player either, for the same reasons you ment...

The French league is of a much higher level than the Dutch, Frans. that was a good laugh, thanks :drecul2: How is that such a good laugh? Aren't the teams in the bottom of the table in France (Strasbourg, Metz etc.) better than for example RBC Roosendaal and Willem II, who are currently down there ...

It's not fair to compare them as they are totally different kind of players. Rosenberg is doing very well at the moment, and hopefully he'll keep it up, but I see the chances of him reaching Zlatan-level very low. Or extremely low to be precise. I'm sure Per wasn't comparing the two either, but just...
