The end of an era.

I haven't been here much lately, but I will never forget Ajax USA. I spent a lot of time here once, and my passion for Ajax was definitely affected by this once brilliant website.

Thank you Menno and thank you Jim for all the many many hours I know you've been spending here.

Long time since I wrote anything here. It's about time now then. Swedish press ( Expressen ) today reports that Ajax are willing to sell Rosenberg and that the expected transfer sum would be around 5 million. I agree, by the way, that loaning him would be a good option. But I'm not sure he wan...

What site is that? All the ads of that page are for California but the site seems to be Swedish/Scandinavian..?? Swedish site indeed. Seems like some personan site within some portal (passagen.se is kinda of a portal, or something). Absolutely lovely though. "...totally non-creepy (really) professi...

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Christian Wilhelmsson and Olof Mellberg have been sent home from Sweden's national team preparations for the Lichtenstein game on Wednesday. The reason is reportedly a late night out, due to the birthday of Olof Mellberg. The players were out until 01.00 without drinking, accordi...

There's a Swedish website called SvenskaFans where footie fans in Sweden write about their favourite teams. All the teams in the 'big leagues' have their editorial staff. Mostly there a few guys writing on each team. No journalists, just fans. Anyway, this far there has been only english, italian, s...

What happened to the map? I can no more see myself (in Sweden) nor can I see the Australians, for example. Only dots in America and central Europe on my map now. Strange.

Zlatan Ibrahimović has said that he definitely doesn't want to stay in Juventus and asked for placing him on transfer list. He said that he will stay in Juventus unless they will relegate, but now it will be better for him to leave Juve. Actually, it's his agent speaking. Zlatan hasn't said a word ...

Come on guys. These insults happends many times a game, for sure. Materazzi is probably a huge asshole, but so are many others on a football pitch. The only one to blame here is Zinedine Zidane. He friggin' headbutted an opponent in the WC final. That's the most stupid thing to do, no matter what ha...

Italy might be the winner in the records, but after seeing the final yesterday and the way Zidane was sent off (since when is it allowed to use video footage to give players a red card....) Are you actually defending Zidane here? You think he shouldn't have been sent off? I couldn't care less who s...

The italians don't deserve to be world champions. If Zidane deserves to be voted 'best player of the WC', then Italy do deserve the WC title for sure. For once the Italians played really nice football, not even close to the shit they have done so many times before. Italy and Germany showed the best...

Zidane has been voted 'man of the tournament' today, with Cannavaro close behind him and Pirlo in third place. I don't think anyone really dominated the World Cup and Zidane was piss poor in the beginning. His 'header' yesterday was for sure not worthy a World Cup king. The best goal scorer had 5 go...

Today in the Aussie- italy match Materazzi's red card was undeserved a yellow would have been enough but whats worst the the damn penalty in the last minute wich was a clear dive, for a ref to call a penalty in the dying minutes off a match he must be a 100 percent sure of the call, the freaking re...

People call Robben and Ronaldo cheating wankers, but god damn Kuyt fell down easily yesterday. He could have been booked 10 times for diving.

Otherwise, sad to see Holland eliminated like this. Great game to watch though, even if the actual football wasn't always in focus.

I'm also looking forwars to the Sweden-England clash on Tuesday. England hasn't defeated Sweden in 60 years or something like that. Anything other than a draw would be the biggest surprise this far in the World Cup. ;) Just to quote myself, this result was not too hard to predict. England can't bea...

If we're in the subject provocation ( ;) ), someone should mention France. It's crazy that nothing has improveds since the last World Cup. No one seems to care. Great players, but no one that takes the necessary long runs to break the opponent's defence line. With many players being some of my absol...
