Bergkamp did always look dazed and confused. I think that was mostly because of the shocking squad which we had under FDB. Lol.

This I agree with. There are boards and committees within Ajax, but I honestly do not think that there's always a clear unifying vision which decides the path forward.

I saw a report yesterday where Akbom and Miautadze are now complaining about not being used properly. These two guys need to go ASAP. We overpaid for both and they just are not very good.

I still am 100% clueless about the Mikautadze transfer. Seems like a money laundering scheme of some sorts.

Glad the RKC goalie was able to be looked at immediately by medical personnel. Apparently he couldn't remember the clash with Brobbey while they were on the way to the hospital.

Apparently Steijn has lost faith in his job, but is waiting to get fired and won't quit by himself. That gets him a 3M severance payout.

Mislintat has been sacked. To be honest, all of us thought that he bought one too many random lower league players and block spots in the first team which would've been useful for some of the kids. What a shambles of a day today. We started bravely and were playing generally well for the first 15-20 minutes.

Gaeei gets pushed off the ball for their first and makes a terrible pass to give up the 2nd. We're also setup terribly defensively and also made a lot of silly mistakes.

My biggest worry from watching the game yesterday (and there were a ton of worries) is how the entire mid-field and defense fell back as soon as we lost possession. We allowed Twente to run through our midfield time and time again. Instead of pressing up and causing mistakes, we allowed them so much...

Saudi Arabian sides have been talking to Bergwijn ,even this week.Their transfer window closes on Thursday. No way will he be sold now but post says they will be back in January. If Ajax get offered over 30m they should accept.

We should just ask for 100M in Jan and see what they say.

I also got this strange sense that Mikautadze had no idea where he was supposed to be and what exactly he was supposed to do. We played a back three for the most part and then Rensch was on overlap, but not doing much at all. Forbs got a couple balls at the beginning, but he was unable to do much of...

The only explanation I have after watching today's game is that there's just too many new faces to have a cohesive unit right now. For what it's worth, we did look better defensively than most of last year.

Read about the Misehouy news and makes total sense to me. We have bought way too many players IMO. Akpom, Berghuis, Klaassen and Taylor are currently ahead of Misehouy at #10. We also have Unuvar who plays #10 and currently rented out.
