It's not really 75M€ for Ajax though is it. Willem II negotiated a 15% sell through fee (ergo 11.25M€). So Ajax actually get 63.75M€. Still a lot for someone that's only played +/- 50 games for Ajax mind you... As for the choice of club... probably one of the worst options out of the the "big boys" ...

Two away points dropped against a team that had won their last 12 CL home games.

Job done. Tough first half because of their tactics, but the early 2nd half goal changed everything. It's great that this young team got to start with a home game (and a win) to build a little confidence, now on to the lion's den.... I really get the feeling that there's something special about this...
