Anyone keeping track of the exodus from our competitors? Off the top of my head: Bony, Altidore, Fer, van Ginkel have all gone abroad. Strootman on his way to AS Roma. Good players leaving the eredivisie is never welcome news, if you ask me.

This is only temporary. By the way Strootman is not thát real good and Fer is terrible. The guy is tall but can't pass a ball straight forward... If we keep Siem and maybe Toby or Christian too Ajax will be a very strong competitor again.

I just had a good laugh when watching FC Utrecht... Nothing more and nothing less. Back to real football guys, our first Johan Cruijff Schaal match against AZ Alkmaar and then the first league game Ajax - Roda JC. That's what matters!

Dont be so sure of yourself, AC Milan arnt exactly confident about this tie, their fans especially saying its going to be close. Also Philip Cocu is straightening his side out. I hope AC Milan, Arsenal and Lyon are all dumped out of this competition

The Arsenal tie is interesting as UEFA have already suspended Fenerbache from all European competitions for match fixing. The club is appealing the ruling and it's not certain what will happen.

I hope PSV get through to the group stage. More Dutch teams in UEFA comps and stronger opposition in the Eredivisie are both good for Ajax. Wouldn't be much fun if Feyenoord and PSV were broke and crap.
