We finally got rid of Bergwijn!!! His coming to Ajax and our decline have coincided 100%. He never seemed to give 100% for any stretches of time and I'm extremely happy to be rid of him. Godts is doing more than decent right now.

Forbs gone for a loan fee and a sell-on clause.

I'm as confused as everyone about letting Vos go. He hasn't been great, but there's a few others (Tahirovic, VDB, Mannesverk) who are in the same bucket and on a much higher salary. Maybe he's the only one among the bunch who actually had suitors.

Everyone seems to think we've signed Sulemana as a replacement for Bergwijn, but no confirmation from Ajax yet.

We are stuck with 3 moderate MF who dont want to leave as we gave them long over priced salaries. None are better than Vos . We should have kept Vos and paid Misehouy the 1m plus both would be back ups .Berghuis when fit ,Taylor,Fitz-Jim and Henderson our 1st choice Mf with the other 3 expensive backups.

Delighted Bergwijn has left and no European team would have paid 21m .

Kroes was in a very bad place given the finances. He inherited a bunch of players who had no transfer value or would not leave because of the salary they are on at Ajax. The Vos transfer was weird and Ajax thought they could get more from him. He apparently had issues with Farioli's approach. We'll see how he does at Milan.

Fee for Bergwijn was 21m no add ons but we get this amount quickly.Original offer was 22m plus 2m but would have been paid over a longer time. Kroes suggested 20m plus 5m but again it would have been over a longer period.In the end Kroes said 21m and pay quicker. This seems like a good deal by him.

Talking to Panathanikos about a loan for Akpom with an option . This would be good as we cannot have 3 strikers.Still need to get rid of Wijndal but that may be difficult.

Fennerbache seem to want Wijndal ,so hope it goes through.Akpom to Greece nothing reported at present.If these 2 go this week on loan it will be a good thing .Need to sign a left winger from those on free transfers.

Nothing happened with Akpom to Greece ,their transfer market closes tonight . Turkey on Friday and UAE on 1st October the only other places Akpom,Wijndal or Tahirovic can go to.

Saddled with 3 strikers and only 1 left winger makes this a dreadful mess.

Italian press saying Juve want Hato and dont rule out a winter move. Given Juve lost 200m last year where are they going to get 50m we would want for Hato . Anyway he wont go there but Arsenal may well get him ,if not next summer 2026 at the latest.Manu also fancy him but Ten Hag will be sacked next week once Villa beat him this weekend.

Rensch still talking to press but sounds like he will walk for nothing. Posters on Showtime saying Onana and Mazraoui were bad by walking out for nothing and Rensch will join them .However these 3 cost nothing but someone much worse was Brobbey, walked out for nothing and 6 months later we pay 16m .

Ajax should have given Rensch an extension this time last year even it was for a year to 2026 but no one talked contracts for a few months after Mislintat left .

Firm news Monza want Tahirovic this winter but no idea if its a loan . Paid 7.5m but we could get 3 or 4m max.

Our back up players are not good enough and last night with 4 or 5 regulars missing it showed. Up front Banel,Rasmussen and Akpom need to go. Akpom has done ok as a sub but we have Weghorst now. Akpom is not a winger.The other 2 are not remotely good enough for our 1st team and not even the best in Jong.

Defence Wijndal is no good and maybe Kaplan will be loaned out as I would not give up on him .

MF Tahirovic ,V d Boomen both need to go and Hlynsson on loan. V d Boomen does not want to leave Holland but no one is going to pay his 2.3m pa salary.

Kudus is going to make a big transfer ie 80m plus and we get 15% so another 12m to come for us. Maybe if we had given Rensch the extra 1m he wants and we could then get 10m to 15m for him this next summer rather than zero.

Allowing a regular to enter the last 12 months of his contract without extending is the act of a bunch of amateurs.

Let the selling of unwanted players commence but next month it will be case of more renting out.Having signed so many average players on big salaries and long contracts sadly no one wants to pay money for them.

From youth Rasmussen and Hlynsson ,on loan . Banel contract up in June a small fee.

Pre Mislintat , Wijndal and Kaplan both likely loans.

Mislintat . Tahirovic maybe a small fee as some Italian sides want him . Akpom seems to want to go on loan and French clubs are mentioned.I called him an unwanted player but that is based on him playing as a winger where he is rubbish. He is good enough as a back up striker but is 3rd choice striker.

Rensch will stay and leave on a free.

This is my realistic list and we wont be getting much money in . It will take until summer 2026 to clear up the shambles of Mislintat's signings.

They also included transfer values as calculated by some consultant, but these look like total nonsense to me. For example Tahirovic is listed at almost €15M but I think SPL’s estimate of “maybe a small fee” is much more accurate. And I doubt they would let Baas go for €9M etc.

I read this report earlier and Tahirovic 14m and Hlynsson 11m estimated transfer fees are a joke.

Tahirovic max 4m Hlynsson 1m at most .We have a lot of unwanted players who are on long contracts who are not going to realise what this report estimates.

Talk of Moro agreement suggests there will be movement out of some players soon. Avila on loan to a Brazilian club and Kaplan back to Turkey are strong rumours. Only player who we will get money from is Akpom as surely someone in England will pay 10m.

Kenneth Taylor's agent said this will be the MFs last season at Ajax. He has a contract to 2027 so we'll see what the reality of this is. IMO, he's not consistent enough to move up to a higher level.

Agree Taylor is not consistent enough , I also dont think Hato is ready to move up yet.Both need another year here and if we get CL football the extra money should mean some better quality signings and thus the quality of our football improve.

The agent is also Berghuis's agent and says he is about to get a 2 year extension on a reduced salary ie 4m current but probably going to get 2m !! Dont agree with this and I would let him go this month ,he adds nothing is too slow for the wing and is not good enough in midfield.

apparently Rensch has reached agreement on personal terms with Roma for a transfer. Big question for Kroes is whether to sell him now or let him leave for free in the summer. Only other RB with the senior team is Gaaei.

Have to let him go for 5m or 6m. Even with a longer contract dont think we would much more than 10m.Talk of Reeger but he seems to be struggling with Twente and we would have to pay 5m . Fosu-Mensah is training with Jong and is free so would not be surprised if he is the replacement.

Unuvar leaves for Twente on a free with a 25 % future sales add on . Espanyol cancelled his loan, we let him go for free to save the 1m pa salary.Hope he gets playing time there .

Worst signing by Mislinat was Forbs ,14m for a youth player.

Rensch to Roma deal completed for 6M which includes all variables. Still not confirmed by the club.
