When the vultures come for Urby we should ask for £10m/15M euros.

As for Maduro I doubt we will get more than 1m euros.Back last summer when he had just had a bad season I doubt whether anyone would have paid more than £2m or 3m euros.

2 years ago when faced with the same situation with De Jong we only got
1m euros.

Mitea could be on his way out. He is evidently on trial with a Romanian
club.Hasn't really been fit for 2 years now.

Ajax are not letting Schilder go on loan to Heracles.Not sure he is going to get much playing time with us but he would play every game for Heracles!

As I have said before we need to loan out some of our young players to gain more experience.After a whole season in our reserves we should look to loan out players for a year.Mind you we have done that with Poepon and Vermeer at Willem but Vermeer has not got many games so far so we must ensure players are going to get first team playing time whilst on loan.

I know he is only just getting fit again but Sarpong could benefit with half a season on loan.

When you're loaned out as an Ajacied, you're carreer at Ajax is pretty much over. The only exception has been Van der Wiel. The rest? Anonymous. Poepon fails to make an impression at Willem 2, Vermeer doesn't even play at the moment. Meanwhile the competitor for Vermeer, Aerts, makes a fool of himself every single game! And still Aerts is the first option for Willem2, instead of Vermeer.....

Schilder came back from a loan deal, he made a few appearances this season, but he was really bad.

As I said: the real good ones (Sneijder, Van der Vaart, Kluivert, Seedorf - like players) we're never loaned out!

You meant Van der Meyde, right ? But yeah, there are only a few exceptions... Vertonghen might be another.

Papers going into overtime trying to sell our players.Evidently Urby wants to go to Spurs now and £5m is mentioned , last week £7m was the price.

Chelsea want KJH but according to Goal.com Juve are going to get him for a meer 15m euros.( What world are they in !!!! )

One thing is fairly certain and that is come the summer Urby KJH Heits Steks will all go and Maduro if he hasn't been sold in Jan.Given that our foreign players are not that special we must look foward to rebuilding.

With that back to Venlo.

Harry hotspur has it right about Urby.

Incidently when saying we should loan out players I note Poepon scored ahattrick today.
I still feel we should loan out young players like Sarpong Donald and Anita (had he not been injured )as all 3 have contracts to 2011 and a season at another club playing first team should improve them and we should look at such loans as part of their football education.

I have just seen a headline on one of the dutch sites saying Colin can go Good.

The press here state Spurs will bid 10m euros for Steks and Man U want KJH
but the press just quote he is worth 18m euros.

We all know these 2 will go in the summer but surely we cannot afford to sell either at the moment.The next 3weeks starting today will be vital for Ajax if we are to win the title.We cannot find a central defender so how on earth are we going to find a goalkeeper and striker in the space of weeks!!!

ManU - "Klaas, we think you are the best thing since the last player we spent too much money on"
KJH - "Thanks"
ManU - "We would like you to come and play for us".
KJH - "No thanks. I love Ajax and want to play here for another few years at least"
ManU - "Oh. Come on! You must be joking. We are the richest club in the world. And we promise, we wont destroy your career like we have so many other players".
KJH - "I don't want your dirty money. Please leave and dont come back for at least 3 years!"

Well, we can only hope.

Dan K, Whose career's have Manchester United destroyed? Have you seen them play lately, or any off their other games over the last twenty odd years under Sir Alex Ferguson. Manchester United enrich players. Sir Alex has developed so many players over the years. It was a strange comment that you made.

If Jan Huntelaar joined Manchester United it would develop him as a player and test him. In an ideal world, of course all players would stay with Ajax, But if they perform to the highest level at a club who of late dont even compete in Europe, it is natural that they may leave for one of the most, if not the most competitive and star studded leagues in the world.

Slightly naive and envious to describe Manchester United in this way. Maybe you should come to Old Trafford and watch a game, maybe then you will see why Jan Huntelaar SHOULD join Manchester United as soon as possible. Just like any star in the Danish Superliga should come to Holland as soon as possible. It's the food chain. It's natural. Money is an excuse to have a go at it.
