Ajax tv show highlights of U19 v Utrecht. Cannot see whether it was a corner but as for being over the line thats a joke .ref on the edge of the area and the linesman decided it went over ,but there was a sea of feet and bodies in the area.

Incompetent officials one assumes the linesman come from Eindhoven!

PS Orange ,100% agree on that game ,Vermeer was not just bad but dreadful.

Our U17 play PSV today 14.30 CET Game is on Ajaxtv but live on Youtube ,ie look up AFC Ajax . I will only watch just over half of it as my local team Worthing are playing today and I do like to go down ,watch some live footy and chat to mates.

Next weekend is the U17 Futures Cup with International sides. Hope some of our games can be on Youtube as we have talented kids in this group.

Our U 17 lost 2-1 to PSV.

Watched the 1st half ,Ajax U17 played decent football ,quick passing and getting the ball up the field quickly .PSV play on the counter and scored through a free kick. Brobbey equalised so 1-1 at HT . We had more chances. In the 2nd PSV scored through a penalty and the Ajax lad v Gelderen got a red . Ajax then got a penalty and Brobbey missed. If you dont score a penalty you can never moan about bad luck.

u17 Futures Cup this weekend ,games of 60 mins. On Dutch Tv but not Ajax tv so no youtube.

We won our 1st game 2-0 v Sydney and later play Sporting Lisbon. PSG tomorrow then semis and final on Monday.

Gravenberch and V Gelderen in the squad but playing for U19 today.Brobbey is playing and scored a goal already.The very English sounding Kenneth Taylor scored the other,he is not yet 16 and a promising MF.

We have a 14 year old creative midfielder called Naci Unuvar playing,rated the best player in all our youth and I have read his parents are happy to stay in Ajax.

Ajaxshowtime are giving good reports on the Cup,already showing highlights of the above game. Today their main youth writer has an article on 2014 when Appie ruled. Beautifully written and a film of him in 2014.Silly old me still shed a tear.Dont think I am the only one.

Ajax U17 lost their 2nd game 2-0 to Sporting Lisbon and need to beat PSG tomorrow to get to the semis. Not helped with full back Hoever getting a red card.

Interesting day in Den Haag as our U19 won 7-2 and had Dest ,also full back sent off.ADO had 2 sent off.Ekkelenkamp got 3 and Kuhn the new German winger debuted with 2. Gravenberch 1 and Jensen 1 having played for Jong last night.

U17 just thrashed PSG 5-0 Brobbey 3 goals ,14 year old Naci Unuvar 2. Gravenberch played today. Will be in the semis tomorrow.

Reached the final by beating Anderlecht on penalties.1-1 after full time.As I said on Nouri thread Naci Unuvar a 14 year old and a playmaker scored on 34th minute.

They play Juventus in the final this afternoon.Would be wonderful if they win today on Appie's 21st birthday

we won the U17 Futures Cup ,beat Juventus 2-0. 14 year old Naci Unuvar both goals.I read he is the outstanding talent in all our youth so being a star at 14 amongst 17 year olds proves he is special.

Even though it is risky to predict senior team success based on youth competitions, it does sound like Naci Uuvar may be a special player. Looking forward to his progress through the Ajax youth system.

Dreadful day for Youth teams yesterday. U19 lost 2-0 to PSV and title chances have all but gone,PSV will be champs.So no CL U19 for us next season.Kemper and Brobbey both sent off.

U17 lost 3-2 to Feyenoord and they wont be champs.Since the futures cup they are playing midweek games so aged 15 and 16 must be catching up with them. Finally U16 lost and probably wont be champs.

We were in the Cotswolds a lot of years ago (1981) on our English honeymoon which aside from three days in London which were rather boring the rest of the time was in the southwest part of England. Still some Ajax youths to follow as U17 Euro's next weekend. the Timber twins,V Gelderen,Brobbey,Musampa and Llansana but no Gravenberch ,who is ony 15.

Ajax released 5 x U17 fringe players including the youngest Fosu-Mensah.Since the Futures Cup their season has fallen away.several of their squad should get contracts.

The U19 season has fallen away over the past weeks. 4 players released Plomper,goalie and Kaars striker ,both 2nd years plus 2 first years midfielder de la Vega, and forward Margaret.

The Dutch U15 team beat Germany 1-0 on a goal by Ajax youth Dillon Hoogewerf. There were three other players from the academy in the starting 11.

Yes a good win ,Hoogewerf played regularly with our U16 and appeared with u17 at the end so clearly a big talent.

U15 NT defeated Germany in a friendly again today with Hoogewerf again getting a goal. The U17 team that is playing in the Euros defeated Germany 3-0! Former Ajax youth Deshawn Redan scored twice. Jurrien and Quinten Maduro both started along with Liam van Gelderen. Brian Brobbey came in as a 2nd half substitute.

Great few days beating Germany . Real sorry we lost Redan. Fosu-Mensah always quoted as a great loss but not doing very much at Palace. Redan scoring loads of goals at youth level and in 2 years time will be on loan at Vitesse.

Something to do with their parents divorcing if I recall correctly, they decided to use their mothers surname instead of their father's

Q Timber and Brobbey both came on so all 6 Ajax played. The Timber twins did take their mother's name and changed from Maduro

I was just looking at the Ajax roster of the mid 1990s and saw there was a winger named Kiki Musampa. Is he any relation to our youth defender Nordin Musampa? I can only see that Nordin is eligible to play for Congo internationally and that was Kiki's country of birth but there is no family reference that I can find on the Internet. Maybe one of the Dutch guys knows the answer to this.

Giovanni de la Vega ,18 year old MF released by us has signed for Utrecht.Nearly every youth, aged 15 and over ,released ends up with a pro club.
