Ended up losing 1-0 by that freekick. Didn't watch all the 2nd half but a decent performance and we should have at least got a draw. Nobody had their goalscoring boots on.

Good to see Matusiwa back , he came on after 63 mins for Jensen and Kuhn also then came on for de Wit. Sierhuis for Bijleveld for the last 20mins. Pereira then played behind Sierhuis as a No10 not sure that works!

This team would have easily beaten Jong Utrecht which is why I was fed up on Tuesday.Schuurs with 3 proper defenders was ok again after his disaster the other night.

3-2 win, goals by Gravenberch and Cerny in the 1st half, when it was 2-1 ,and Johnsen on 73.Almere pulled back to 3-2 but we held on.

Cerny was red carded on 86 mins ,10 mins from the end.subs used Bijleveld for de Wit on 59,Johnsen for Nunnely on 68
and Ylatupa for Ter Heide on 74 .

Next Friday the last game before the break and during the winter I wonder if some players will go.Bijleveld has indicated he might leave.

A good 2-0 win over Sparta, who had been top, and it was justified as we created a few chances and should have got 1 or 2 more.

A nice shot by de Wit for no 1 after 20 mins then Cerny on 75 cut inside from the right wing and a lovely left footed shot.

Cerny had a good game and Lang was lively on the left. Gravenberch at 16 is a hugh talent and very powerful running with the ball.Ekkelenkamp went off injured after 34 and Bjleveld came on ,he looks promising and is a creative MF .

Of the defenders the 2 young U19 looked the best Dest good and quick down the right and Timber at 17 looked comfortable at CD .Kotarski went off at HT injured and clearly,to me,a better goalie prospect than his sub v Bladeren. Matusiwa after along injury the 3rd sub on 78 for de Wit.

PS.After struggling to get a decent stream v Roda this was a clear perfect picture all game.Wish all streams were as good.

2-2 in the end,Pereira with both goals. It was 1-1 at Ht but the streams only started working just before Ht so missed those goals. Pereira scored a fine 2nd but they pulled back to 2-2 with our defence nowhere. We created many chances in the 2nd half and Brobbey near the end should have buried it but it fell to his weaker left foot.He missed a few chances for U19 yesterday so hasn't found his scoring boots again .PSV created next to nothing .

Johnsen replaced Thetani at Ht, Brobbey for Nunnely on 67 and Solomons for Dest for the last 10 mins.

Pereira had a good game with 2 goals. I like Dest at RB he is a good attacking back. Timber looked very comfortable on the ball and at 17 should start to get more time at this level. Kuhn playing as a No 10 looked good to me ,was impressive .

Jong Ajax have a large squad and I would send Schuurs and de Wit out on loan to Eredivise clubs to see if they can play at a higher level. Ajax need to clear at some wingers at this level, Johnsen does not impress and Nunnely and Thetani wont make it . Ylatupa not played although he has been playing for Finland this month and like Kuhn I read he is more a no 10.

I read that Cerny ,Schuurs and de Wit cannot play as they were in the first team squad yesterday. If you are in the 1st team squad you cannot then play for Jong in that weekend round of games.They could have played for Jong had the game been Friday or Saturday .

No cheer tonight ,only just over 60 mins gone and game over.We are 3-1 down and Dest sent off.1-1 at Ht Traore a good goal on debut . Then 2 Penalties with Dest red after only 48. No streams as no Tv but a depressing weekend for Ajax ,even the U19 only saved themselves because the goalie scored.

Just reading comments on Ajaxshowtime on last night's game .Doom and gloom from nearly all but this team are all 18 and 19 year olds playing senior football against older more experienced players.They gave away 2 penalties which cost the match and a red card.Hopefully they will learn.

Watched the highlights of Jong v Volendam and we did create a few chances but unlucky with the 2 penalties. The 1st one the ball crossed to their striker ,who probably would not have connected and scored,but Dest's momentum just ran into the back of him. The 2nd way out wide on the area Gravenberch jumped and turned away from the shot but left his arm there.

These were 2 soft pens but these are young boys who are still learning.

At least the Jong squad has been cleared out a bit with Johnsen,Sierhuis,Ylatupa ,Matusiwa out with El Azzouzi, Orejuela and Cassierra also gone.

Still need to get rid of a RB as we have Dest Bakboord and Solomons for that position and possibly a midfielder like Pasquali,who is not getting playing time and contract up in June, may move on.

Varela Veltman Sinkgraven Labyad all need match practice but are too old for Jong Ajax in the league games so a few games like this will need to be played.
