Surprising rumour? Are pigs flying? And no,I don't mean referees traveling around Germany. I'd love to see it ;but it sounds like something dreamt up over a few dozen litres of witches brew.

I was so excited about the possibility of Davids coming back that when it got confirmed that he wasn't coming I became enormously dissapointed. So I don't want to feel the same way with this Vieira situation, I hope it's true but I dont want to dream anymore.

I also am not going to get excited about Veira. I just cant see it happening.

Wasnt their a rumour some time ago about some french guy called Robert Pires ??? In he end nothin happened. This must be something in the same vein.

Not that I think it'll happen without the sky falling or a biblical sized miracle such as the parting of the Mokkum, but I'd take Vieira over Emerson. I think Vieira is younger . I know he's been a successful captain.

Maybe he meant coaching staff? ;) . We still don't have right winger except Mauro Rosales (yep... I don't consider de Mul and Krohn-Delhi as the good ones)... Besides, it's impossible that our defence is complete. We need at least 2 solid defender in case of Grygera, Heitinga or Trabelsi transfers...

As for the Vieira - men, it will be the greatest transfer in the whole Ajax's history. It will be the first time when we buy player from absolutely world top! Before you answer - no, Marcio Santos and Angelos Charisteas were not that kind of players, even if they were world and Euro champions... Vieira in Ajax? I'm for it! He is one of the best defensive midfielders now, much better than our Czech friend Galasek or Gabri. If it's possible - try to catch him. Even if it will be only one-season loan.

And don't believe van Geel that he doesn't want to have a player like Vieira. If it was serious, I think he had to be pissed or stupid...

I am no sure that our defense isn't complete.
We have to players for each role EVEN IF Grygera leaves: Ogararu and Boakye for RB, Stam, Vermaelen, Heitinga and Schilder for CB, Emanuelson and in a certain sense Lindenbergh for LB. And we alla know that Maduro is good as CB. I insist that we need a fighting midfielder, but I don't believe he will arrive anymore.
If also Grygera stays, which I think impossibile, we should even have all to play 3-4-3: Stekelenburg; Grygera, Stam, Vermaelen; Gabri, Maduro, Snejider, Emanuelson; Rosales, Huntelaar, Babel.
It would be a dream.

So it's firm that both Grygera and Trabelsi are leaving? It's been quite awhile and no news about their departures. I suspect there's a good chance both may still stay OR am I being too hopeful?

In a similar vein, I hope Viera does come. He'll be an excellent Number 4 and remember what happened the last time we got a Top class Number 4 in Rijkaard ? We won the European Cup!

Trabelsi has already left, his contract expired. Grygera was on his way to join a Italian giant, but they got caught in a scandal. The outcome of the scandal will decide his future.
