Ι agree with what you said. Judging the last 1-2 years I can't see him staying with us

All very quiet on the players leaving. Big concern for me is that Labyad,Danilo,Ekkelenkamp and Mazraoui have all indicated they want to stay but their contracts run to next June when they could go for free.

Its bad enough Brobbey went for free and Onana is going the same way but we cannot let the above just run their contracts down. Mazraoui will be needed and if Danilo is getting the number 9 shirt he clearly is going to get a chance.These 2 would be worth 8m to 10m each.

Ekkelenkamp and Labyad ,probably worth only say 2m each ,should be sold this month neither are good enough for Ajax.

Ajax have confirmed Alvarez is staying,Rennes offered 20m but ETH has said he stays. Mazraoui,who played a good game yesterday,has said he wants to stay and hopes to sign a new contract soon .Final bit of news this morning Arsenal may come back for Onana.

Ekkelenkamp is looking like going to Hertha Berlin but only a rumour of Lyon for Neres,nothing on Onana,Labyad or Magallan.

Need to unload most of these by Tuesday deadline.

I don’t see who would want neres unfortunately. I don’t think any of the bigger teams are in the market and I cannot see is getting more than 20. gone are the days when a Chinese team wanted to pay 50

Lyon have inquired about Neres and a transfer fee of €25 was mentioned. I would be astounded and pleased if this goes through.

Labyad stated that he will play out his contract with Ajax this season.

Labyad would not raise much of a transfer fee and I guess can be useful in some of the league games .

Just come in from an afternoon out and see Onana has a couple of interested clubs and Neres is wanted by Leicester so we may get rid of these 2 by Tuesday after all.

Overmars has said on Tv that there is a small chance of Neres staying ,so he expects a sale. Onana it would be good for both sides if he were to leave. On Tagliafico clearly nothing is happening as he said yes he can still go as there are 2 days left and Ajax have an agreement with him.

So Nico I see staying,Neres leaving and Onana who knows.Next 2 days we shall see.

Wouldn’t he be better off staying? I can see him getting 15–20 starts, only takes an injury to any of Blind, Martinez, Alvarez etc.

Yeah I'm not sure I like Nico's transfer at all. Neither for him nor for Ajax (since only 12m in transfer). We won't be able to get any replacements and he's downgrading from Ajax to West Ham.

Covid screwed up the whole transfer market. The only teams that have money are EPL teams and PSG. Both of the top Spanish teams are in financial difficulty and Bayern, who are well managed, are careful about spending right now. Most Italian teams don't have money unless they sell. Nico is 28 years old and maybe has 3-4 more years if he doesn't get injured. Neres had significant transfer right after he made the Brazil NT but then he got hurt and he was eclipsed by Antony last season. Unless Overmars is willing to take a diminished amount of money, he's going to be with Ajax. Onana is a peculiar case because of the drug ban.

Update on Nico from the english internet press the story is nonsense and West Ham have no intention of signing him.

Given he is now in Venezuela it does seem difficult to see how he can agree to a transfer .

I'm surprised there isn't an Italian team interested in Tagliafico. I think he has an Italian passport. I don't know what teams are looking for a left back.

Rensch and Martinez can both cover the position, though if Martinez slides out it means Schuurs slots in as the CB on the left side which may not be optimal. Also, it's a chance for Baas as well (though I doubt he would be ready to face CL opposition.

Been out this afternoon just come in hoped to see who we have sold and nothing.

Nico to West Ham was just from the agent and nothing resulted.

Neres seems Lyon ,an Italian and German club had some interest but it came to nothing but Ajax asks 25m which is way too much for most teams outside England.

Finally Onana, Lyon and Nice have been turned down by him and Villareal and Barca are interested but both need to sell.

No problem with Nico and Neres staying but I am one of those fans who would never play Onana again.I know he is vastly better than the 2 oldens we have but unless he agrees say a 1 year extension he can just train with Jong Ajax as far as I am concerned.

PS Of course there are still 4 hours to go so any of the above 3 could still of course leave

I am curious to see what they do with Onana, if they do anything. I don't think they have an obligation to let him train with the team. They went the extra mile last year helping protest the suspension and Onana seems not to be grateful at all. Let him stay in Spain or where ever he is and let him train alone.

So nobody went and Onana is the big problem. Extend a year and play or not extend and stay training with Jong.
