Good news Jurrien will be staying ,so hope for a contract extension. Sounds like Haller is going to Dortmund .They offer 33m plus add ons we want 38 plus add ons.

It's reported that Dortmund are offering €33M for Haller. This is a tough one for Ajax. The money is good and Haller is close to 30 years old and it's doubtful that a higher offer will come in. It would be enough money to buy Brobbey back but Haller has been a real work horse.

Arsenal are supposed to have offered 30m for Martinez but now the truth is they asked us if he were available and they had 30 m left for him .Ajax said he is not for sale.Still talk of Man u but again that will be the press talking and they will try and get him for less We should ask 50 to 60m.

It's official, Sebastian Haller has signed for Borussia Dortmund for 35 million euros.
This is great news, it will make room for Ajax to sign players they are working on.

35m is a good amount for a 28 year old. He did score goals but apart from putting the ball in the net he had no football qualities and was unsuited to Ajax style of football.The last 2 months of the season he was a passenger on the field and did not score many.

Talk of Manu wanting Antony and will pay 46m euros ,thats an insult and anything less than 60m should be chucked out.The rumour came from The Sun so its all made up as they are a rubbish paper.

Meanwhile Rio Hillen Young Ajax CD has joined De Graafschap on a free.We decided to not renew.

Mixed feelings on Haller for me. He did only score when Ajax were playing well as SPL says. But I think his technique and finishing were both pretty good, and how are we going to replace a 30+ goal striker?

18 year old U18 Lb Prince Aning has finally signed for Dortmund,no surprise and Ajax should have signed him a year ago .Salah-Eddine and Baas seem to be staying with Ajax so he was not certain of a regular place at Young Ajax.

Terrance Douglas Young LB has joined Roda on a 2 year deal.He played for Den Bosch in the 2nd half of last season,still had a year left with us but is not 1st team material.

That's life for Ajax. If they get €50M, they pretty much have to take it. Ajax just cannot compete because of the television revenue disparity.

50M is a good fee after all Eredivisie is not a high level. So Manu get our 2nd best CD meanwhile Chelsea will get the top prize de Ligt .

I was curious so I googled up a list of Ajax players by Eredivisie minutes last season.

Haller, Gravenberch, Mazraoui already gone. Rumours about Timber, Alvarez, Martinez and Antony so some of those could leave too.

Tadic, Blind, Berghuis and Klaassen not going but it seems like it could be a completely different Ajax next season.

Jokes aside this offseason is looking like it will be the biggest clearout of the starting 11 that I can remember.

Yes. The last time we had a massive clearout was all the way back in 1997, Bogarde, Kluivert, Scholten, Overmars, Veldman.

I was thinking about that era too. I had to look it up because I had thought all our stars left at the same time. Turns out I misremembered and their departures were spread over a few seasons. But yeah, that is the last big exodus I recall that comes close to this.

The late 1990 clear out was also a result of the Bosman ruling. There were also players who 'promised' to stay with Ajax and then departed once the money was on the table.

Yeah the 90s clearout hurt a lot more since we didn't make any money. At least we generally make decent money nowadays with player sales and CL.

There's no way we can let Martinez go this year. That increases the risk of us ending outside the top 2 and without CL footie, leading to a world of financial hurt in 23-24.

I agree with keeping Kudus for another year.

Hopefully we actually use our squad depth this year out of choice and not out of necessity (injuries).

I don't think we will fall outside the top 2. Feyenoord are getting crushed with all their transfer losses. The won't have Dessers, Malacia, Sinisterra and now Kokcu will also likely be leaving. Club has no money to bring in new players as they spent a lot planning for the new stadium that will never get built.

Getting a joke with our youth, Aning leaves and now 16 year old striker Sky Vink is in the in the interest of Leipzig and Leverkursen. He is son of Marciano Vink ex player and so far Ajax have not offered a contract although they may now be offering him one.He was only 16 last week and for the new season he is promoted to our U18.We should have had him agreed months ago and signed last week on his birthday.

If this kid leaves then Hamstra and Huntelaar should be sacked. Now we have Brexit we dont have loads of EPL clubs trying to take our 16 year olds but German sides now trying.

According to Mike Verweij, we've apparently agreed on a fee of Euro 55M (including bonuses) for Licha. Apparently Van Der Sar stepped in to help finalize the deal - which effing sucks.

Isn't there some sort of rule that they can only offer a professional contract e.g. of three years, when they turn 16?
