Gravenberch for El Ham 80 mins

Good expereince for Kuipers who is only 17 and a first year A2 youth

Strange to see El Ham play but given the Jong have no striker since Boere left I suppose he may as well get the odd game

Next week they have 2 games and we should hopefully see V DWiel ,Sigthorsson and maybe Boerrigter play as they are back in training

With some Jong in the first team ,one or 2 playing yesterday for the A1 it is abit of an odd lineup.

NB Busse is an A1 youth but used mainly as a sub , Kuipers 17 year old A2 youth. Rosheuvel A1 defender plus Bartels and Lizardo A2 players

an easy 4-1 win with Siggy scoring a goal on his comeback game and Lodeiro the other 2.

Siggy only played the first half with Roshuevel ,another 17 year old youth who plays for our A1,coming on for him. Bartels was the other sub used at the end for Kuipers.

I am not sure what this says of Sparta or indeed Jong football as we had a defence which includes an A2 youth ,an A1 sub, and another ,Schouw, not good enough for Almere and
released from Jong NAC !!

Good to see Siggy playing again . There is another Jong game on Thursday but you will have to do without my mini report as I am away for 3 days with the wife and no I do not have a lap top or a modern mobile(Ko will be pleased to know my wife does have a digital camera)

Cheers guys,only going away with the wife for a short break at the last moment as we are having sunny summer like weather here in Uk at present.(only hope when I come back friday evening that V Rhijn has signed a new contract)

I am glad my mini reports on the Jong are appreciated .OK being retired I have too much time on my hands but I do follow the youth scene and with Google translate follow what is
happening. I know at most clubs fans only follow the first team so if my mini reports here are of benefit I am happy.

PS This coming weekend last year I was in Amsterdam and we beat Heracles 3-0 .Hope for a repeat. I am looking to come over in September for another live fix.

V d Wiel is likely to play on Thursday . it will be another team of assorted players as our A1 team are playing at present . Some of the A1 who played on Sunday in that Next Gen final are not playing tonight,not surprising .

V d Wiel played about 64 mins with Busse replacing him. Klaassen was subbed after about 84 mins by another A2 youth Martina.

A good night with 2 long term injured playing but looking ahead to next season not sure Lodeiro will be here as he just seems to play for the Jong these days

The Dutch Ajax Talk section informs us that Sigthorsson scored 3 goals and that Lukoki has also scored one with a header!

Is Cillesen injured? I noticed Verhoeven on the bench last Sunday and he is starting today for the Jong team.

For the record subs were Denswil for V Rhijn after 70 mins , Toivomaki for Ligeon on 80, and Schouw for Arica on 81 . Toivomaki comes back after yet another injury but the other 2 regular Jong players de Kamps and Rits must be injured.

With 3 games left for all teams Jong are now 2nd place. Twente have 49 points Ajax 42, PSV and AZ 41,Fword 39.

Jong are also in the cup final next week so a good season result wise and V Rhijn Koppers Lukoki have all come through to make several first team appearances and Ligeon also a couple of times with de Kamps and Veltman making the sub bench once.

Final score 2-0 Arica and Koppers scored the goals. Subs used Toivomaki for Ligeon, Sporkslede for Lodeiro and Gravenberch for Arica ,all in the 2nd half. After the A1 lost in Rotterdam our B1's won there on Saturday 4-0 and now our Jong have won there (as the Meat Loaf song went 2 out of 3 aint bad)

Our Jong play Utrecht on Thursday in the Jong Cup final 18.30CET the game is on eredivisie TV so there will likely be a stream.
