Yes Sir, this is a bit of a milestone: as of this summer Ajax have a Women's Team.

First training session was yesterday: report (in Dutch) plus some pictures.

Here's how the new league works. It's called the BeNeLeague, with 'BeNe' meaning Belgium and Netherlands. There are two divisions of eight teams: the BeNeLeague Orange (Dutch division) and the BeNeLeague Red (Belgian division). These two divisions play a full competition before the winter break (that's against teams from your own division/country only). The top four of Orange and Red divisions play each other for the championship after the winter break. Not sure as to whether that's a play-off system or a full league.
