Reading comments on Ajaxshowtime Botman and Kotarski getting loads of stick and Schuurs clearly not impressing.Only
other defender we could play is Bakker but he wont play again.

Finished 6-0 defeat ,just as well it was only Cambuur ,who had been behind us in the table before today and are a mid table side.

Subs used in 2nd half Traore for Pereira,Kuhn for Jensen and Bijleveld for Ekkelenkamp.Thats our best Jong players in action tonight and not sure if any will be in the 1st team squad next season, although most are teenagers.

I just watched the highlights from the Cambuur match. This should be mandatory viewing for any club to show the players how not to defend. Just awful.

Really was dreadful watching.Not just dreadful goalkeeping but the CD Schuurs and especially Botman were really woeful.

Watched the highlights and Traore looks impressive for only just 18 years old. Pereira is also a good finisher,these 2 with Brobbey means we have some striker prospects coming through

Saw the highlights, as well. Agree about Traore -- looking forward to seeing how he does when he moves up to the big team -- which he appears ready to do. Not too sure about how Brobbey will do when he moves up -- a lot of what he has going for him at the younger levels is his size for his age -- the question is how well he will do when going up against players who are physically more his equal.

Mitchell v d Gaag is the new coach of Jong Ajax.He was at NAC this season and before that Excelsior and spent time in Portugal.I read he is good at helping youngsters develop so we shall see,signed for 2 years.
