As a result of Lyon being eliminated (ah ! ah ah !), rotten juventus should be in pot 2. Hope we will not play them.

No Juventus please, of course no Real Madrid and especially not FC Zenit Sint-Petersburg combined with Real Madrid.

If PSV beats AC Milan and we will get FC Zenit Sint-Petersburg from pot 2 it might be ok when we also draw Arsenal. Then we will just kick Arsenal their asses and go throw to the next round together with Zenit Sint-Petersburg.

I'm a Juventus fan because they play interesting football these days and I think Conte is one of the best managers around (he dares to play a three man back line). As far as opponents go, we might as well get the hardest draw again so that it will test the mettle of our young players. I have very little expectation that we will do well in CL given we can't even score goals in the Eredivisie matches.

Champions League matches are a different cup of tea. Most of these opponents don't know how to handle an attacking playing style and they give Ajax more space than Eredivisie teams like Roda JC are doing.

For Ajax it is easier to play against AC Milan than to have a match against AZ Alkmaar.

OK, I predicted exactly last year what we would get so here we go:

From Pot 1 - One oF: Man U, Barca, Chelsea or Bayern (Can't get Real Again!)
From Pot 2 - PSG (Hardest in the pot and the return of Big Ibra)
From Pot 4 - Bayer Leverkusen (Hardest in the pot)

Why you ask? Platini hates us and will fix it that way! I am convinced as how else can you explain Real for the 3rd straight year, Man City and Dortmond, the worst draw anyone could get?!

Yeah, e.g. Manchester City not bothering to defend the wide areas of the pitch against us last year. Any eredivisie team could've told them that wasn't a good idea.

Still, it would be nice to get a more even group this season so we can judge our level against some European teams that are more closely matched with us.

I'm only going to worry if Ruud Gullit is drawing the balls. He's been the one who has put us in the bad groups the last two years!

They do well in Euro competitions every year and this adds to coefficient points. Also the last team outside the big leagues to have won the CL.

If we get a group of death again and manage to go for play-off then we are ready. Otherwise it would be good to get to play-offs for more money.
