Just for fun. They are no fans but idiots. After a while they were fighting their own trainers and players, who tried to help the Feyenoorders escape. :pukey:

They're a bunch of idiots. Just a small group of 'supporters' making life of the real supporters miserable. IF Ajax will become champions this sunday, and that will only happen if psv gets beaten in their game on saturday, we won't get a celebration party on the 'Leidseplein' in Amsterdam. So ten thousands of Ajax fans are affected by the ridiculous actions from a couple of complete fools.

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (AP) -- The city of Amsterdam Friday banned celebrations by Ajax fans in the capital's center if the club wins the premier league championship, in response to an attack by the club's fans on players of rival Feyenoord Rotterdam.

Several young Feyenoord players were injured Thursday night by Ajax supporters who rushed onto the field after a match between the youth teams of the two clubs.

"For rabble-rousers there's no party. It's not happening," vice-mayor Mark Van der Horst told the AT5 local television station. "It's those supporters, the hard-core, who have ruined it for themselves, and more importantly, for all Ajax fans."

Ajax's first team currently leads the Dutch league by 10 points and could clinch the championship on Sunday if second-place PSV Eindhoven loses its match against NEC Nijmegen. Feyenoord, Ajax's archrival, is in third place. City spokeswoman Marleen Nieuwenhuis confirmed celebrations have been canceled for the time being, but said some alternative might be considered later.

Feyenoord midfielder Jorge Acuna spent the night in the hospital with a concussion after the attack. But the main target of the rioters was 20-year-old striker Robin van Persie, seen as one of the Netherlands' most promising talents.

"I was hit hard twice," Van Persie told Dutch television Friday, adding he felt grateful to Ajax striker Daniel de Ridder, who helped keep him on his feet so he could escape to the locker room.

"If I had fallen, I don't think I'd be able to stand right now," Van Persie said.

The players left later with a police escort.

Ajax apologized for the attacks. "As far as Ajax is concerned, the matter will be thoroughly investigated and those responsible will be firmly dealt with," said director Jeroen Slop.

Amsterdam police made no arrests Thursday and circulated a request Friday for people who had pictures or videos of the attack to come forward.

The director of the Dutch Soccer Association Henk Kesler said the matter "was impossible to explain away," and said the organization's prosecutor was considering further action against Ajax.

Feyenoord has vowed its team will never return to Toekomst training center where the match was held in front of 3,500 fans. Ajax won 3-1.

"I know that Ajax is ashamed of itself, and I realize how difficult supporter violence is to control," said Feyenoord chairman Jorien Van den Herik.
