Lukoki evidently got into an argument with relatives and ended up with head and leg injuries .His leg was amputated and he suffered cardiac arrest and died. Very sad way to go.

I watched Botman a couple times this past year. He is more fit than he was at Ajax and had better quickness (those were the major imitations IMO). It looks like it was a mistake to let him go and pick up Perie who has been hurt and likely will not make it at Ajax.

I watched Botman more than just a couple of times, and he is bad when it comes to counter attacks, and can't withstand pressure cooking situations. Come on, Timber and Teze surpassed him to the Dutch national team, both have less experience than him, at least one of them is younger. Even Indi Martins came back from the wilderness to the national team. Botman is crap, he will be dubbed Maguire 2.0 or the Dutch Maguire.

I don't think they have made a diagnosis on the tumor yet. These can often be benign.

Meanwhile a nice article in the Daily Mail here in England,about Sven Botman. He admitted his style of play did not fit with Ajax and praised Winston Bogarde . He had to sing a song in front of his new Newcastle team mates and naturally he sang 3 Little Birds. comes across as a nice down to earth lad.He mentioned Ajax got 13m out of him and he did not play a minute for the 1st team.

I'm quite intrigued by this move for Eiting. I think injuries have definitely stopped him from having a top career.

However being back in the Netherlands and continuing to learn from Jonk (a player who played similar roles) is going to be very valuable.

I see Eiting as a future coach at Ajax in 10 years time.

I've watched a couple of Torino matches and Per Schuurs is playing quite well. At the weekend he was matched up against Vlahovic from Juve and pretty much neutralized him. I'm now thinking it was a mistake to have sent him away and he should have slotted in next to Timber on the back line.

I see Torino want 50m for Schuurs and Manu and Liverpool fancy him. Ideally we wanted a left footed defender to replace Martinez but under Heitinga Alvarez has played CD and he is right footed. Thus Schuurs could easily have played with Timber
