U17 finished 3-0 . 4 subs used and we swapped 2 Mf for 2 defenders ,not much creativity in the Mf without Unuvar.

15 year old Rensch at Cd looked good to me. Hoogewerf wasted at MF for the majority of the 2nd half.

U19 only drew 1-1 a late OG for the draw. Some real talent in that squad as Oranje said. Most are 16 and 17 ie Brobbey,Hansen,Taylor are 16,Unuvar 15 and the rest mainly 17 so a very young u19 side.

Finished 8-1 to us ,shame they scored in injury time

Nunnely 2, Kuhn 3, Jensen,Llansana Taylor 1 each. Unuvar and Hoogewerf both came on as subs and another U17 player Salah-Eddine 16 year old left back also. Brobbey our main goalscorer at U19 missed the game injured!

Youth highlight of the weekend for our U9 they had Carel Eiting helping coaching them this morning at de Toekomst.Seems he has been doing this during his injury.Pictures on the main site. Really beautiful to see a player from the 1st getting up early and helping the kids of the future.

U19 lost 3-2 to Feyenoord U19.the camera work at Rotterdam was poor camera at ground level so I did not watch this.

U17 beat Feyenoord 4-1, Camera at de Toekomst is up high and vastly superior ,of course. U17 play 80 min games watched it to 60 mins but decided to go down the road to watch local team. Feyenoord got a penalty but we hit back with 4 second half goals. Hoogewerf and Unuvar clearly talents but whether they make it we will have to wait and see.

U19 v NAC on Ajax youtube tomorrow 14.30 CET. Unuvar and Hoogewerf the 2 best 15 year olds in the squad so look forward to seeing these 2 at a higher age level.

U19 about to start ,live on Ajax tv. A very young side as Hoogewerf and Unuvar start and Brobbey,Taylor and Hansen are all 16 ,the rest only 17.

An enjoyable game to watch and we won 3-2 thanks to 2 late goals. NAC scored first, Brobbey then with a penalty. NAC took the lead with a fine free kick from V Hooijdonk ,son of. Hansen on 89 made it 2-2 and in injury time Brobbey made it 3-2.

Llansana ,at CD looked good,Taylor and Q Timber in MF and Hansen playing as a no 10 impressed .Quick passing and moving by our team but let down by finishing until the end.

Glad the U19 won as our U17 lost 6-2 ,their first defeat of the season and they had only let in a total 3 goals before today.

Watched the game, as well. Had basically the same assessment as you - good overall play but the finishing was lacking. Seeing Kenneth Taylor (sp?) over the last few games left me with the impression that he could become a really good player for us in the future.

Was out yesterday afternoon and last night forgot to post our U19 lost 2-1 to Bayern yesterday in de Toekomst.Brobbey our goal.We still topped the group and reach the last 16 Ko stage of the CL u19. We played no overage players,Bakker,Botman ,Ekkelenkamp all Jong Ajax but are all 18 and indeed 4x 16 year olds appeared.

Just going by the highlights, it looked like we were lucky for the game to be that close on the scoreline. Our keeper made at least a half dozen incredible goal saving saves and 90% of the dangerous chances belonged to them.

U19 beat Vitesse 4-3 and are winter champions in the league.

U17 about to play Vitesse and need to win to be winter champs,Vitesse 1 point ahead. This is on Ajax TV 14.30 CET.

Great 3-2 win by the u17 to become winter champs.2-0 down at HT ,free kick and a corner.We had a good 2nd half de Waal with 2 goals and we threw everything forward with near misses and hitting the crossbar.In Injury time,with 2 mins to spare, Unuvar hit the crossbar and the ball rebounded to him to slot in the winner.

I thought that the first Vitesse goal should never have happened as the referee called a foul just at the top of the box when the Ajax defender had cleanly stripped the ball from the Vitesse attacker. I focused a lot on Unuvar and thought that he was only average until late in the match when he moved to the MF from the wing.

Agree about Unuvar looking average until he moved into Mf late.Hoogewerf impressed and Bonnah at right back ,all are 15 and a year younger than others. (Rensch and Reeger also 15 others all 16 and a year older)

This team could still have Gravenberch, Brobbey,Taylor,Hansen all playing as they are 16.

U17 won 2-1 Hoogewerf 2 nice goals . He was the best player used as a left winger but came inside to the no 10 role at times.

U19 won 3-0 as well with Brobbey getting a goal again.

Only U19 in action yesterday away to NAC again but in the cup and we won on penalties having finished 1-1 .

Mentioning this only because Daan Reiziger our goalkeeper came up for a corner on 90 mins and headed the equaliser.
Then he saved a penalty which put us through.

Dont remember any goalies scoring like that in senior games.
