Saw highlights of the U15 match vs AZ which we lost 0-3. From the impression I got just from watching the highlights, it looked to me that if we had their goal keeper and they has ours, we would have been the 3-0 winners. Their keeper made some incredibly impressive saves, whereas out keeper was extremely weak when it came to making the crunch saves.

They started again at 30 mins same players. HT 1-0 to us .Brobbey scored a goal ,after Hansen missed a good chance.

Bonnah the 15 year old RB from the U17 was missing from the subs but reading Ajaxshowtime lads he is off to Germany.

Not sure he is that special ,like Hoogewerf ,talents but not greats talents. Unuvar and Rensch also 16 this year are the 2 hugh talents born in 2003 and both played for Dutch u17's already.

We won 2-0 Unuvar with a nice goal on 67 and are champs.We were very much better than Feyenoord and it was very comfortable .Not sure they had a real chance today we were that far in control.

So having won the cup in the week we now are champions and will be in the U19 CL next season even if our first team dont make the group stages.

15 players used today and no one has yet reached their 18th birthday.Feyenoord players nearly all 2 years older and a couple played for their 1st team! They were typical Feyenoorders, no real football skills plenty of kicking and fouling. Our kids played real football,loads of real talent in our team.

So Hoogewerf is off to Manu and Bonnah is gong to Leipzig.Sad to see kids go abroad but we have taken kids from other Eredivisie sides and signed another Danish lad. Difference the kids we sign come because its better training here for their development whereas you only go to England for money.Would say Germans sides give youth a chance though.

Bonnah and Hoogewerf have gone but we have now signed and contracted their replacements.

Steven van der Sloot RB from Feyenoord signed a 3 year contract.He is 17 next month and will play for U19. Striker cum RW Tunahan Tasci just 17 signs for 2 years from NEC ,also for our U19.

For our U17 we signed another right winger Ar'jany Martha from Sparta.He has signed for 3 years although not 16 until September.

No confirmed news of contracts being signed for the 16 year old AZ lads Hillen and Fitz-Jim.

U19 forward Eros Maddy released by us signs a contract with Utrecht. Apart from Bonnah and Hoogewerf we released 11 players from our u16, U17 ,U19 squads and they are nearly all getting new teams from the Eredivisie.

Evidently Heitinga invited all the ultras to the U19 game v Feyenoord as he wanted atmosphere.A big mistake by him.

Meanwhile more obscure with Hoogewerf off to Manu an ex Ajax youth Millan Baars has been released by them.I believe we released him in 2016 due to a falling out and he joined Manu.

No Ajax kid who left us as a teenager to England has made it there.Currently we have Fosu-Mensah struggles at Fulham on loan. Chelsea have Castillo and Redan but I read they could go to Germany.There is a kid called El Mhassa released in 2017 at West Ham!!! and a de Boer at Swansea ,also released by us in 2017.

It seems the best bet for any kids who want to go abroad at 16 is Germany. More likely Bonnah will make it there than Hoogewerf and Hoever in England!

IMO Heitinga should be punished. What did he think would happen?

AZ defender Rio Hillen finally signs for us ,a contract to 2022.He is now 16 .Fellow AZ Fitz-Jim isn't 16 until next month and should sign soon.

U19 forward Venitchio Sint has left and signed for NEC .Like Maddy not good enough.

U19 playing a 4 team Next Gen series this weekend in the Olympic Stadium. Games last 2 x 30min halves. We have just beaten Sparta Rotterdam 2-1. At the end of a game there is a sudden death penalty shootout for an extra point and we won that. Cape Town this afternoon and a Japanese team tomorrow with a playoff.

Beat Cape Town 2-1 so tomorrow we play a Japanese side first up

Having beaten Sagan Tosu of Japan 2-1 we the won the competition by beating Sparta 1-0 in the final, Douglas the goal.

Daily Mail here reports one of our top talents 16 year old winger Hosein Zamani wants to leave and all the big EPL are after him.

This is the biggest load of nonsense I have ever read. The kid was released by us back in April ,played little for the U17 last season due to injury and his development had gone backwards. Ajaxshowtime said he had joined Utrecht but clearly his agent has invented the story to get him a deal in EPL.

Another nonsense headline today regards Unuvar."Top clubs abroad want Ajax talent". The story then says he was wanted abroad but chose Ajax.Signed back in May and his Dad is his agent. Utter nonsense again.

Barcelona opened their new youth ground yesterday,named after JC, and the opening game was Barca u19 vAjax U19.

We won 2-0 with 2 glorious goals by Naci Unuvar.

U19 first competitive game of the season Super Cup v Feyenoord and we won 4-1.Hansen 2,Rensch Taylor 1 each.

U17 playing Feyenoord today ,1-1 at Ht .Ajaxyoutube has the game if any one wants to watch the 2nd half

finished 2-2. Rasmussen ,who impressed got our 2nd but we gave away a soft penalty for 2-2 .Fair result ,Martha had a great chance just before Ht when it was 1-1 but 2nd half nothing special.

Rasmussen ,played more as a no 10 behind the front 3 was the only player who impressed but he faded a bit at the end.

Ajax U-19s won yesterday and take on Lille in the youth CL competition. This is one of the stronger U-19s since Nouri skippered the team several years ago. Unuvar had a goal and an assist yesterday and was called up on Friday for first team training. I wonder if he will get a run out in an early Cup match.

Hopefully a good omen for tonight as our U19 beat Lille 4-0 this afternoon.

I had responded to an Ajax.nl tweet during HT (score was 3-0) in the Jong game that I would love to see a 3-0 in the evening game as well. And they delivered.

Our u19 beat Valencia 5-3 Youri Reeger ,16 MF got 3. Musampa 1 and an OG .Been out all day so missed this game but a great day in Valencia for our club.
