Our u17's are the last Ajax team still playing competitive footy.In the U17 cup quarters yesterday they beat Feyenoord 5-0 away.Neither the U17 or U18 won their leagues. The U17 euros are being played at present so its odd the cup is being played at the same time.

Dutch U-17 beat Italy 2-1 to move into the semifinals of the Euros. Misehouy had a nice game with a goal and an assist. He looks like the real deal and I look forward to seeing more from him. Silvano Vos went the full 90 in MF and I have not seen much of him to figure out what his best position is. Two other Ajax players Henry and Boerhout came on as subs. Henry got a YC for match delay and is suspended for the semis.

Oranje U17's doing very well with Misehouy and Vos really great talents and both have already played for Young Ajax and will be with Young next season. Semi on Sunday v winners of Denmark or Serbia.

It will be Serbia who defeated Denmark 2-1 today.

Season not yet over for Ajax youths.As well as 5 in the Oranje U17's Ajax U 17's have reached the U17 cup final and will play Utrecht next week.

Having beaten Feyenoord U17 5-0 in Rotterdam last week ,today won 2-0 at home to Heerenveen.

The U-17 match between the Dutch and Serbia will be carried by ESPN here in the US. Streams should be available in Europe. Vos and Misehuoy should be starting today. Henry is suspended and Boerhout has been coming in as a 2nd half substitute. Should be an interesting match.

Finishes 2-2 so penalties. I wont watch as Dutch, like England, dont do penalty shoot outs.

I watched pens Dutch won 5-3 wonderful another final.

Missed the last five minutes of regular time and the shoot out as I had to pick up my wife. Ajax players did well. Qualid Agouglil came on as a late sub but Vos and Misehuoy both started. Vos looked very good and Misehuoy was better in the 2nd half. Rematch with France is up on Wednesday.

Vos and Misehouy probably the best 2 of our Academy at present ,hence they have already played for Young Ajax. Misehouy is not yet 17 .

Dutch U 17 lost 2-1 to France in the final.I did not see it but a good tournament for the Dutch and Vos and Misehouy showing they are real talents for Ajax's future.

I did not see it either. I looked on the broadcast schedule and it said the starting time was 14.00 my time. I tuned in and they were awarding the medals to France!!! I had set aside the time to watch and missed kickoff by two hours.

Ajax U17 play Utrecht U17 in the U17 cup final today 14.30 CET. Ajax OS has a live stream through its Youtube site.

Watched most of the game and Ajax lost 3-2. Having gone 1 down in the 1st minute ,sub Woolf scored after 63 and on 91 mins for what should have been the winner.Last action of the match was a corner and Utrecht goalie got a goal to take it into ET. They scored the winner in the 2nd half of ET and so our U17 lost the cup .

Of our players the 4 with contracts all looked good ie Hato at LCD, Speksnijder a left footed right winger and Kalokoh on LW. In Mf Muzambo the Belgium lad looked good to me and he has already moved up to U18.

Of the others Woolf a tall lad played on the LW and scored both goals.He and Vink the striker have decent scoring records so Ajax should get them under contract. Vink is son of Marciano Vink ex player .

It did not help our U17's that due to Internationals and injuries our RB Voute has been a winger until these last 3 cup matches.Gorter,a MF has now spent theses last 3 games at CD.

Young Dutch/English GK, Charlie Setford was picked as talent of the year. It will be interesting to see if he can be the first Ajax trained keeper since Vermeer to make the first team as a regular.

Bad news for Charlie Setford today his wrist injury needs surgery and he wont play before Christmas.Charlie's younger brother Tommie is U17 goalie and equally as talented.

Our U18 beat Rangers in the U19 CL 2-1 .Goals by Belgium MF Idumbo and Skye Vink . Vink aged just 16 plays in our u18 so hopefullly Ajax will pull their fingers out and get him contracted.

Ajax were thrashed by Liverpool in the CL Youth League 4-0.

Not a good game but they had an older average age of players.

Ajax U-18 team defeated Napoli 5-1 in the Youth CL game today. They lost their GK on a penalty call in the 36th minute but still scored three more goals with 10 men on the pitch.

A very good win ,I note 8 of the starters are all now Young Ajax players and some of the regular U18's did not make the bench.

The U-18 got a 1-1 draw against Napoli. As with last week's match Ajax played with 10 men after having a player sent off just before half time. Napoli score came on a PK and from the description, it was a difficult synthetic playing surface.

Across the 31 main leagues of Europe Ajax has provided 85 players from our youth the highest by any club academy.

Ajax U-18 played a nice match against LIverpool U-19 in the Youth CL, winning 3-1. I watched the 2nd half and Ajax were convincing. What was most impressive is how they helped out each other on defense and often dispossessed the Liverpool players. With the win, Ajax clinch 2nd place and advance to the knock out round.

Didn't catch the game but a good win. A mixture of players ,6 from Young Ajax, some are over age U 18 without contracts and 2x 16 year olds Hato and Vink.
