Strange nobody has posted this, im almost sure you all know by now but here it goes anyway:
Cup exit for Young Ajax
Helmond, December 20, 2005
Ajax 2, or Young Ajax, did not make it through to the quarter finals of the Gatorade Cup. Despite Jasper Kok being sent off after ten minutes, the talent team fought back to make it 1-1. But Helmond Sport made it 2-1 after 64 minutes after which Ajax lost another player with a red card.
Coach John van den Brom had only one player from the first team, goalkeeper Hans Vonk. Young Ajax were reduced to ten in the tenth minute when Jasper Kok fouled a player who had an open path to the goal. Ajax 2 held on, but six minutes before halftime, Orlando Smeekes found a way through Ajax's defence and gave the first-division team the 1-0 lead.
Young Ajax started the second half strongly, and junior Rydell Poepon headed the ball in to level the score: 1-1. But Helmond Sport did not allow that score to stay that way for long. Braber scored in the 64th minute: 2-1.
Minutes later, Jan Vertonghen was shown his second yellow card and Ajax 2 were reduced to nine players. The team from Amsterdam gave it all they had, but could not catch up a second time.

Match Report
And here's the match report on Ajax USA...
http://www.ajax-usa.com/news/2005-2006/ ... d-2-1.html
Too bad it's over, but hey: it's the second team. Their cup achievements are a bonus and not something you can take for granted. Roll on Eindhoven vs Ajax!
