2006 wasn't my favourite year. Everything seemed to be great, as always, until August 8th, the day my girlfriend suddenly broke up with me. This totally took me by surprise, everything seemed to collapse and the remaining four months of the year weren't the best ones I've had.

But in spite of my sadness I never felt seriously unhappy or 'damaged'. I've never had any bad luck in my life so far (this was the first time) and it was nice to find out that life, indeed, goes on. I have loads of very nice people around me, and many passions to live for, and in spite of everything I must say I am a happy man, over all. The number of people who were there for me deeply moved me. I appear to have even more friends than I thought I had.

I feel pretty good now: strong, optimistic, looking forward to the future and to a new life (whatever it may bring). I moved into my new appartment last weekend. My new life can start and I have found out (the hard way) that I'm a strong lad and that the optimist inside of me is invincible. I'll be alright. I'll always have a good time, no matter what.

2007 will be a good one, mark my words, and I hope it will be for all of you.

Damn man that one put a lump in my throat, heart brake is always dificult, you reminded me of what happened in my case three years ago, luckily Ajax had a very good season that year :yes:. Always remember bro whatever happens their are tons of people who are feeling the same way and a lot off those people dont have the support you and I got ;).

Merry christmas too all off you my dear ajacied friends, may the new year bring happines, health and prosperity too you all. Keep youre head`s up high. Like they see in this part off the world "Año nuevo, Vida nueva, mas alegre los dias seran" wich means "New year, New Life, oh how happier the day`s will be".

Time to 'up' the old Season's Greetings thread...

I want to wish everybody here at Ajax Talk a Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2009.

May the New Year bring us happiness, peace, good health and (as for as the footie is concerned) an Eredivisie championship and a few more brilliant UEFA Cup nights, 'Hamburg style'.

Right, now that NAC Breda vs Ajax has been called off... so much for 2009 (Edit: I totally forgot about WHC vs Ajax for a second... but not that I remember that fixture I still don't really care about it).

I wish Ajax good luck against WHC on Wednesday, I really do. Personally, I'm going to take a well-deserved break from everything Ajax (well... almost everything).

Seasons Greetings Everyone! Blackpool, Ajax and most non-league games called off this weekend because of the snow so a bit of a non-weekend footy wise. Newcastle on on the TV though....

Anyway, hope everyone has a great break and hoping to get over to Amsterdam again and see a few of you guys in the New Year sometime (I miss the ArenA!).
