Another minor player contract Gibson Yah 18 year old midfielder gets a contract to 2022 with a 1 year option. He is in Jong Ajax squad but has been injured since August.

Still wondering when Reeger gets his 2022 contract extended and several 17 year old now playing regularly for U18 should be given contracts.

Just to confirm Overmars has signed a contract to 2026,he is happy in Amsterdam and both he and V d Sar wont be leaving anytime soon.

Another contract for an U18 player ,17 year old right back Diyae Jermoumi has signed to 2024. He has been playing regularly this season . Left back Prince Aning , an u18 regular, still has no contract and is an Oranje U18 Int.

Hlynsson ,the Icelandic MF who played in both cup games has extended his contract from 2023 to 2026.He was 18 o Sunday .Looks a good prospect.

Plenty of other contracts to extend or be given .

Not necessarily, Youri Regeer can also play in midfield. He and Taylor looked good together.

Ye he can play MF as well but think he will mainly be RB understudy.

Is he the closest thing we've got to a #6? If so, we need to have him as backup

I think he will follow Mazraoui and move from MF to RB. Rensch could move to LB.

Yes Jerry Hamstra he is one of the names tipped to replace Overmars, if that happens who takes his position? Huntelaar?

Is it too crazy to bring back Jonk to deal with the Youth Academy/Contracts? He fought with Bergkamp, Overmars and VDS - but umm only one of them remains with us still.

It won't happen but I would like to see Jordi Cruyff come in to take over the technical director position.

Who ever takes over most contracts are decided ie Onana Mazraoui,Labyad ,Danilo all leaving on frees. From 2023 contracts Tagliafico will leave for a small amount and Gravenberch is not renewing and will leave for 25 to 30m the asking price already agreed by Overmars.

Gravenberch might turn out just like Brobbey if he makes the wrong decision on a club to transfer to. I think he is making a mistake by leaving now as he really is not ready for a step up. Ajax was always going to be in a tough position in terms of what type of salary they ought to pay a very young player who still has deficiencies in his game.

Tough to call, but if Van der Sar stays till 2023, maybe Jordi Cruyff can take over after? Also by then if Ten Hag stays for another season, which is a big if. maybe Wim Jonk can take over as manager? Or Are Ajax lining up for Johnny Heitinga to step up or Fred Grim ? As for Overmars's vacant position, why not just promote Hamstra and let Huntelaar be in his place as his previous role ?

agree that gravenberch is nowhere near ready for one of the top four leagues. I actually thought his development this year stalled a bit and he had a good number of games where he invisible and not able to assist himself. he needs to stay at least another 1 year and likely 2. but sounds like his family has had informal discussions with bayern so I do think he’ll be gone for 20-25 million.

Plenty of youths to be contracted but the first main player from 2006 has been signed. Jorrel Hato a left CD signs to June 2025.Did read on Showtime that some German sides wanted him but he chose to stay.He has been on the U18 bench already when still 15.

The next one from 2006 should be goalie Tommy Setford ,younger brother of Charlie, and like Hato just about to celebrate his 16th birthday.

U18's regulars who should be contracted Banel,Brandes Emen and Aning.

I read yesterday that Overmars had started initial talks with Timber, about extending from 2024 to 2026 and giving a big wage increase,and Timber was favourable.This has been put on hold with Overmars going but expect Ajax to start talking before the season ends.

Julian Brandes 18 year old MF of U18's signed a contract to 2025 with a years option. Hope Banel and Aning sign soon,all 3 have played regularly for u18's this season and should all have got contracts months ago.

Jaydon Banel a 17 year old winger from U18 signs for 3 years to 2025.Been a regular this season and finally signed. No word yet on Prince Aning the talented LB but I have read nothing to say he is about to go to Dortmund.

From our Jong squad Rio Hillen has an expiring contract this month but is currently with the Dutch U19.Nothing official about his future. Still one or 2 16 year olds should be contracted as well.

Naci Unuvar is about to sign a 3 year extension to 2026 which is good news as our new coach clearly rates him.

Meanwhile Ajax are about to lose U18 LB Prince Aning to Dortmund. Its one thing losing 16 year olds abroad who go for the money but this lad is talented and is 18.Overmars should have had him under contract last summer ,whats the point of our Academy if we dont sign our own best kids. Very few foreign kids signed as youths make it and they cost money.

We have 2 talented goalscoring 16 year old Kayden Woolf and Sky Vink both should be signed up.Vink ,16 next month is likely to be in u18's next season.

Have to say I am angry with Ajax as they have been dragging their heels over youth contracts and indeed seniors contract extensions.

U17 goalie Tommy Setford,16 year old has signed a 3 year contract to 2025.He is the brother of Young Ajax goalie Charlie.

Steks signs a new contract to 2023 ,he, Pasveer and Gorter will be our 3 goalies this season. Maybe we will sign another young goalie as behind these 3 Charlie Setford is out until January and Young Ajax have just 2 x18 year olds Kremers and De Graaf.

Unuvar signs a contract to 2026 ,good news and he should get playing time this season.Timber and Taylor,both still contracted to 2024 need extensions.

Great news about Unuvar. I hope he makes some solid minutes this year in Ajax1.
