Well second place means qualifications for the champions league play offs. Some players will leave in January. Definitely Younes, maybe Dolberg, Cassirer's, Ziyech and Onana

Yeah. Let them leave in January. They have nothing to play for, and Ajax can receive huge sums for both of them

Amidst the swirling snowflakes in Eschede, Ajax lost what small chance they had of trying to catch up with PSV. A 3-3 draw in a poorly officiated game has to be considered a fair result as both teams were bothered by a slick pitch and numerous chances on both sides to score were missed by wide margins as well as some luck. Keizer was forced to sub of Wöber at the half as he was clear shaken up after being badly undercut by Boere who was not even warned for dangerous play but then this match official was willing to turn a blind eye to a lot of pushing and shoving.

Player Ratings:

Onana (4.5) - made a couple of good saves but was often times unconvincing
Wöber (5.5) - had to come off at the half
de Ligt (6) - anchored the three man back line OK
Veltman (5.5) - had a good opportunity to score hitting the post and was decent enough on defense
Schöne (6.5) - two nice free kicks and not much else
F. de Jong (6) - composed on the ball tonight
Ziyech (3.5) - I'm sorry but when you are paid the big €s, you need to come out and play well
van de Beek (5) - barely average
Kluivert (6) - got a goal with the help of a deflection but late in the game couldn't make the big play
Dolberg (5.5) - had a nice kick shot that was saved and was good on the ball but the team still needs more
Neres (5.5) - too out of control at times
Zeefuik (3.5) - woefully out of position on more than one occasion
S. de Jong (5) - did he even get a single touch coming on for 20 minutes

PSV next week and even with a win, Ajax are still too far back to threaten.

Terrible 2nd half and aweful defending.At 3-2 with a Kluivert goal surely Eiting had to come on ,the kid is adefensive player but no Siem comes on , hardly touches the ball. KJH should also have come on.

Overall I though we were lucky to get a point. Zeefuik not yet good enough for the 1st team and Onana his worst ever game.

Season is over but then again it has never started. 2nd place is all we can play for now. Expect PSV to win next week.

Exactly my thoughts. Schone was tired and Eiting, Frenkie and De Ligt would've sewed up the middle of the pitch and KJH would've added more worries to their backline. They had 3 defenders on yellows.

But no, we bring on Siem who touched the ball once and got a throw in for us.

We were gifted our 3rd goal and when you get gifted something while playing average, you do your best to keep the gift. So pointless.

The worst performance was of course the ref.The guy who scored their 2nd should earlier have had a red for a cynical foul which should have been his 2nd yellow. But overall we were poor.

No idea what we do in January , need to buy 2 experienced defenders but we should have done that back in August,plus of course we should have sold Veltman and kept the superior right back Tete.

Younes and Ziyech can be sold in January, problem is Ziyech's replacement was going to be Appie.

PS and get rid of Keizer and bring in an experienced coach who knows what he is doing. Siem de Jong a sub today !!!!!!!

Well a really crap weekend we are now 3rd with AZ above us PSV get another 1-0 win but are effective.

The season is over unless we win next week .Although I think Keizer is one of the poorest coaches we have had the TH have made his job impossible with lack of buying in the summer.

Last season Sanchez was in the defence and Klaassen in the mf scoring goals and doing a great job as captain. Keizer is saddled with no left back and Sanchez replaced by a 19 year old inexperienced Austrian. Klaassen replaced by a 20 year old who is still traumatised with his best mate brain dead(after his Dutch debut he said his thoughts were Appie should be there to celebrate) And Keizer criticised Donny when he moaned about being dropped v Utrecht.

I see us finishing 3rd or 4th and next summer will see many of the talents going.Dolberg and de Ligt are not improving under this clown of a coach and will Kluivert or Frenkie stay!

Until Bergkamp ,v d Sar Overmars go and take their lap dog Spikerman this great club will continue to go backwards.

Johan Cruijff must be looking down and thinking what the hell are they doing to my club!!!!!!!
