ok people first game i get too see of the season with a pretty descent stream and what can i say.......WE REALLY NEED A CLEVER ATACK MINDED MIDFIELDER.....it was way too obvious that Luque aint that player...he is just not a midfielder......Ajax had to start pumping long balls and long throw in's into the box to try and create scoring chances....the link between atack and midfield was just not there.

I have to admit HTC did what he could with what he had...he could see that Luque was not working so he introduced Urzais and sent Stam too the box...the spaniard was the catalyst for KJH goal that came from a Stam pass.

both of gronningen-s goals came from set pieces and amazingly so Stam was the man burned...he made up for it with the assist in the game tying goal and almost grabbed the winner in the end.

oh well at least PSV tied too.....but this has really been a horrible week.

We do not learn .As I said a couple of days ago 3 years ago we sold Zlatan and did not replace him and now we sell Wes and no replacement. We have alot of money but needed to spend it on an attacking midfield and another quality defender.The 4 defenders who played today are our best 4 and they leaked goals!! It is going to be a long season.

I wouldn't read too much into today. Hangover from being eliminated from CL. Ten Cate seems unable to inspire his players, though. That's about the only thing I'm taking away from the last two games.

I know it's too late now, but why, oh why didn't someone think of looking for a replacement for Wesley? He is so sadly missed......yet there's a lad not far away at PSG, Jérôme ROTHEN. A nice little skillful left footed player who packs a punch with his right.....I've seen him quite a few times..and who does he remind me of......WS!!!

He was outstanding in Monaco's run to the Champions league final a few seasons back.
