As depressing as the team has been in Europe this season, they are still very much in contention for the eredivisie title. They have more talent than pretty much any other team, besides perhaps PSV.

Quite frankly, I'd be tickled pink if they managed to win the eredivisie this year, and I think that they still have a chance, despite all the drama.

The Dutch press are bitching as usual, saying Ajax weren't playing good. I thought they were decent enough. Then, if Ajax do win 6-0 or something, they say the opposition was crap.

There are some real frustrated bastards in the Dutch sports press.
