Three more matches in 2007: Excelsior and VVV-Venlo away, and Twente at home.

Twente at home will be a (very) tough one; from the other two I want six points and a reasonable number of goals.

Watching on Sopcast ..... have to agree with rif1 , this is one of those dreadful slow mo efforts from Ajax.

Goal after 30 seconds for Excelsior.

After that, Stekelenburg could have gone to the pub. Excelsior never even came close to him anymore. 74% possession for Ajax, but a very small number of real chances. Just a couple. Loads of corners, but they're shit as usual.

Suárez is totally useless today. Rommedahl's corners are crap.

My God, are we having a hard time against f*cking Excelsior now...???

i think we have to sell Suarez and get somebody better
maybe he had a few good games but he's done so much damage
he prefers to play with the ball rather than score
i'm sure Ajax will get a lot of money for him to buy somebody more useful
It's already third consecutive dreadful game, we need a lot of changes in January

Well..... what can we say about this disaster???

Ajax had 2 weeks of rest, clearly they don't need that time anymore. It was like sleepwalking today.

This squad (all players) is dangerously un-balanced and most of the players don't have the qualities to make it at Ajax. But who is responsible for the signing of those players??

We do not do well against the small clubs and Venlo is to come next week!!

Once the useless Colin was taken off the whole of the defence were from our youth so cannot blame Van Geel for that.

We had 11 players unavailable today but in truth only Vermaelen and Davids would have been first choices.

The defence and midfield need strengthening badly. Talk of going for Aissati who is a young PSV sub in effect is not going to improve our midfield.
I know he would not come but Seedorf is the sort of midfielder we need.
