Even BBC Radio 5 Live (usualy chauvinistic in sports reporting) said after the game that Reyes had gained the win through unfair means as the penalty should not have been given.

Anyway Johan C said it was never a penalty, so it it must be true.... :worshippy: ;) :yes: :hypocrite:

had grygera done that on reyes, not only would he have been shown a straight red, but they would have loaded him into a rocket and shot him into orbit

I'm generally not a fan of a particular team (and hockey is not really one of my favorite sports) but I have seen them play before. I might check out one game a season, but I prefer soccer (among other sports) over hockey. What about you?

Being raised in the DC area, college park to be exact, i am a Caps fan as well as all the Washington Teams(and the Orioles).

I dont think the Toure foul merited a red card, he dident have the intention of harming Charisteas for that manner a yellow was enough( I for one would have wished for a red but you have to be fair guy's.)

again i ask.... since when does "lack of intention" outweigh the actual incident? did vonk "intend" to give away a penalty?

look at it like this: if toure doesn't violently bust open harry's skull, he walks in on goal alone... that is a :redcard:, my friend

just follow the rules, they tend to tell you what the rules are ;)
