Zwolle just went ahead -- 2 screw ups by us -- but we can thank the fans behind the goal for giving Zwolle time to regroup.

Three lucky goals so far (OK van Rhijn's was great but it could also have ended up in row Z). So far it's one of those "anything can happen" games...

Not a whole lot is going to happen for us if we don't stop playing pitty pat.

You have to wonder how the game would have gone if it hadn't been suspended due to the actions of those so-called supporters. Still, when one team goes out to attack at full speed, while the other plays pitty pat at half speed, you get the results we are seeing.

Anyway, it's 1 AM here, and I don't think I will enjoy this one any further. It's off to bed. Will read about it and weep in the morning.

I guess that's that. Everything went right for Zwolle (4 chances and 4 goals I think?) and we don't have the attack to break them down when they wall up in the second half.

Wow was that ever bad! I could count three serious chances on goal all from more than 20 meters out. Defense is awful and the passing pathetic. Maybe the team got unnerved from all the fireworks. Whatever, they just don't deserve to even be on the pitch. I think the worst they've played since the Utrecht match a couple of years ago. Embarrassing doesn't even fit here.

I think this beats the spartak games, the eindhoven game in september, the utrecht disasters, and the red bull salzburg maulling as the most horrible ajax performance so far.

I actually feel sorry for Vermeer, he really didn't have a chance on any of the goals.

Well PSV 4-0 was bad Salzburg both games they made us look like schoolboys and then there was today . A shambolic mess.Defence woeful, mind they have Vermeer behind them and behind him a bunch of morons who call themselves fans.Midfield abject, attack does not exist.

The most humilliatiang aspect of it all is that after such display of "macho tough guys" from Ajax fans, the actual tteam is ridiculed on the field.

Maybe the holes in the turf from the fireworks caused our defenders problems and we will see the Zwolle defenders suffer in the second half!
