Just glad for the win. NAC may have a lousy season, but Ajax have a habit of throwing away points to such sides. Time to exhale. Thank God for Wesley Sneijder.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

It's great that Ajax are back on U.S. television. Wonderful. Be warned, though: Ajax USA will update the homepage with the result, and publish a match report a.s.a.p. If you don't want to know the result, then don't visit Ajax USA on matchday until after the Setanta broadcast.

Great to watch a game. I thought the boys played well. It could have easily been 3 or 4 to 1.

IMO, the team looked better in the second half when Babel switched to the right and Perez came in on the left. Also, I thought Charisteas looked pretty good when he came in, though he did exaggerate the foul a little when he won that pk.

Yes, Huntelaar didn't score, but it was pretty disgraceful the way they tried to "defend" him. Penders and that other guy (Zwaartswijk?) should have gotten booked much earlier.

All in all, it was good to see them come back from behind to book a much-desereved victory.

I agree with Aveslacker. If Ajax manages to convert the field domination into goals, it will be like the good ol' days. There's really 'football' in the squad.

Why does Ten Cate insist on playing Babel as a left winger ?
At the end of last season, Rosenberg seemed very good in that position together with Huntelaar in the center.
Appie, stay strong !

Babel has been playing better than last season and with Perez, Manu and Mitea as back up the left wing position is full. Ten cate sees Rosenberg as a center forward more than left wing.

I do think he should give him some more playing time though ;)
BRING IT ON !!!!...
