Utrecht is playing Liverpool today in the Europa league (about to finish 0-0). Hopefully the extra rest we have from playing earlier this week helps. We should take this one, hopefully easily too, as Utrecht has lost all 4 away from home this season.

Jol told the press this week that Mido lost a lot of weight and is pretty much match fit, but he's not in the squad just yet.

as poor a 45 mins as I have seen for along time from Ajax. Not sure El H has touched the ball. Suarez pen was stupid but Enoh was a bit soft .

Well, when you conceede 2 goals for 15 mins it's kind of hard to find your rythm again. I hope we can still take at least draw in the second half

Left before we scored so only found out now final score. As insipid a performance as I can remember in the Eredivisie since well Utrecht away last season. Maybe a little kick up pants we need. Too many players performed underpar today. And all credit to Utrecht, hate saying that, but a very well organised team. They cut our midfield out of the game completely first half

This was the worst Ajax performance in a long, long time.

They weren't even interested, so why should I be?
