Except that it is almost like playing 10 against 11 in every match. He was pretty much absent in the cup match the other day and I don't even see his "fabled" free kicks. This was a total waste of Euros. He's too slow for the type of football this team needs to be playing.

I have been saying Janssen was a bad buy all season, even before we got him. We should have shown the money to F-word for Wijnaldum or Fer instead.

I once compared us signing him to Arsenal signing Gareth Barry but got ridiculed by others.

Too fat, too slow too much money wasted and totaly the wrong player for Ajax.

I agree with all of you! Yes, we have a "triangle" in midfield, with Eriksen leading, and we do need two more defensive/creative midfielders behind him....but Janssen.....I'm sure that we could do better.....even trawling the non-leagues in UK would come up with better players!!

Let's hope that today's game gives us a positive start to the year!!!
