Six matches left in the Eredivisie season and Ajax hit the road again, travelling to Utrecht following next weekend's international break. Let's hope that our international players do not suffer any injuries. Kishna hurt his knee yesterday and Viergever his ankle so we will now more about their injuries this week.

The magic point total for PSV is 10 which means no margin for error! Here is the fixture list for the two teams for the remainder of the league season.

We need to run the table and PSV must drop nine points from their remaining matches.

PSV wont drop that many points and we will certainly finish 2nd. I do hope we play our younger lads .No more Siggy and Moisander in the squad and even Serero who works hard but is very limited attacking,Schone also on the bench .Zivkovic and v d Beek should be subs and get playing time.Tete also needs to be sub and play in place of V Rhijn for the odd game ( this depends on Raiola as Tete's contract runs out in 3 months)

Cillessen, V Rhijn/Tete,Veltman,Riedewald (LCD), Boilesen/Viegever, Klaassen, Bazoer,Sinkgraven,El Ghazi,Milik,Kishna/Fischer. These would be my main players for the rest of the season with Zivkovic, v d Beek,Andersen Schone as subs.

Hopefully at least 4 away games means those 4 home teams wont play defensive like Excelsior and ADO

Sinkgraven is out for 2 to 4 weeks with a torn groin so is unlikely to make this game.

I reckon we're more likely to drop 9 points than PSV are but you never know... If they lose in Enschede they might get the yips!

Boilesen played the first 50 minutes against the US NT in a friendly tonight so his ankles must be OK.

Yes I think they will get nervous when that happens.

Blasphemy!!!!!!!!!!!! Until we are mathematically eliminated it is you job to believe. All pessimists need to take their postings elsewhere! To quote Queen, "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS." (at least until we are not).

Milik suffered a sever strain to his left ACL while on international duty with Poland. He's certainly out of the Utrecht match and likely won't play for several weeks depending on how it responds to treatment. I guess our solid Clydesdale striker Siggie will get the starts though I hope to see Zivkovic in action.

Bad news on Milik ,we may see Zivkovic on the bench but looks like Siggy will start. With Sinkgraven out we will see Serero.

19 picked . Sinkgraven and Millk injured and Viegever doubtful so Tete is on standby. Boilesen fit and Zivkovic is not with Jong Ajax tonight so must be going to Utrecht.

2 chances for V Rhijn,normally we would expect a striker to be in that position.

OK, I can understand if he jumps up off the stretcher and tries to come back on. But he had walked off with the Dr/physio, thanked the crowd, sat on the bench and been given his puffy coat...

Very odd that Duplan sub. Not a great half but we have gone forward but no real chances other than from V Rhijn,who has been very poor,and Schone's freekick

Have to disagree about Van Rijhn -- IMO he was the one player who was giving them problems with his forays down the right, and I thought he did well on defense when needed.

What a weird 1st half: looks as if the pitch is narrow and thus just not much space for the players....

And yeah that was really weird that Duplan comes off and is substituted then wanders onto the field, the ref has to stop play and inform him of that fact and he goes back on the bench and has a chuckle with the physio.

Sometimes it's better to have luck than skill. With this lineup luck is what was needed.

And no, van Rijhn is poor, overrated and...well I could go on and on.

Viergever and Veltman were quite poor on the goal.

You could sense the inevitability of it from the 65th minute onward when they started playing rugby style and the ref kept looking the other way. We just folded under the pressure.

As usual we lose points at Utrecht. Can't complain, draw us probably more than we deserved. Did we have a shot in the second half?
