And the beat keeps going on as Ajax try to run the table and win the league championship. Ahead of the big showdown in Eindhoven comes a home match against NEC who lie seventh in the Eredivisie. PSV are home to a young but struggling Heerenveen side. Hard to imagine them dropping points ahead of their Tuesday match in Madrid against Athletico.

el Ghazi returns from his one game suspension, don't know about Sinkgraven's status with his foot injury and of course Tete and Riedewald are out for the season.

Will post it here ,Tete is now back in training .Far too soon for PSV but with 4 games in April I expect he will be back for say 2 of them ie play our last 4 games.

We should continue with Veltman as RB with v d Hoorn and Viergever as Cd until Tete is fully fit. Since Riedewald got injured we have let in 3 goals in 5 games, and one of those was a dodgy free kick v Groningen.

Turning to this game we have 4 players only one yellow away from suspension.Dijks,Gudelj,Klaassen ,Bazoer.Hope that they dont pick up one in this match as we need all 4 v PSV.

Ajax needs to keep the pressure on PSV by winning against NEC this weekend. NEC don't score a lot, nor do they give up a lot of goals. Ajax have been in great form lately, scoring 13 times and only allowing 2 in the last four matches, only 5 since the Winter break!
The defense has been outstanding all season long. I was a bit nervous when Tete went injured, but Veltman slid over with vd Hoorn taking over his spot, but no worries at all. vd Hoorn has been pretty much outstanding. Then Riedwald went down and replaced with Viergever who has been very solid as well. Both of these guys have been very professional throughout the season and when their opportunity came they took it. Hope they stay around next season. Really pays to have a solid bench in the course of a season.
Fantastic now to see Dijks get called up for the early lineup for Orange! I think he's been outstanding as well and glad to see that recognized.
Well hope Ajax keeps up the fine form and PSV keeps looking over their shoulder.

Yes, it is really strange that he wouldn't even get a Jong match before being put on the first team bench. Should have played in the match yesterday!

Really bad news for those of us in the US. It looks like NGSN has gone out of business because of a dispute over payments and my source of high quality streams is now gone. There are no other alternatives on this side of the ocean as the Dutch league is just not watched enough. ESPN3 carried matches at one time and maybe they will step up again.

Player ratings may not be forthcoming if I have to rely on poor streams to watch matches. It's a sad day for this Ajax fan!

I get excellent Acestream streams -- sharp and clear even on full screen -- from the 'livetv.sx/en' website. The only drawback is that they aren't in English (which doesn't matter me, anyway).

Univision Desportes carries Ajax matches if you have them on your cable TV package. Match will be live this morning. Also look at https://www.fubo.tv/, they carry streams from many cable providers for $9.98 a month and do have Univision Desportes. Problem is they don't have the full slate of Eredivisie matches that NGSN carried. I think you can do a one day trial run to check it out.

Yep Viergever made a big mistake there and got punished.

That's 4 or 5 turnovers from Dijks in the first 20 minutes. Hope Leicester aren't watching ;)

Not a great half by us having been gifted the lead we gave it away with poor defending. We need to play a lot better to win this.No one is playing that well and Klaassen is having a poor game.

So much bad play! Too slow on the passing, too sloppy with the ball, and how did Schöne miss an open goal mouth and sky the shot into the stands? Viergever, WAKE UP, there is no time to take a snooze on the pitch and leave someone open on goal forcing van der Hoorn to rush over to try to make up for your mistake.

This team is sleep walking yet again believing that they are entitled to win matches by just putting on their kits. I'm sure that FdB is laying into them right now. el Ghazi needs to come in for Schöne who just doesn't have it any longer. The midfielders need to rotate the ball quicker (I know that is asking too much) as the NEC defense is quite slow to react.

Just saw the replay and it was quite funny to watch Viergever point to the open man so van der Hoorn could slide over and pick him up. Brings defending up to a new ridiculous level.
