No margin for error in tomorrow's match with the first meeting with PSV a week away. Injuries are plaguing the Amsterdam side with Viergever and Younes still out along with Sinkgraven whose knee surgery will keep him on the shelf for several months. Will Keizer go with a 3-4-3 alignment given the problems with the back line?

Viergever out until January,so we have in effect 14 first team squad players and KJH is not fit enough to start.Not sure when Younes will be fit and Dijks ,still not 100% fit may still get back in the squad this month as we have no left back.

Just to make it really bad de Ligt is on 4 yellows so another one tomorrow and he misses PSV.

Only 4 Jong players are ready for 1st team ie Zeefuik ,Eiting ,Johnsen plus Cassierra who is injured and misses Jong game tonight.

Given we were not out of Europe until the end of August I dread to think the state of our squad had we been playing Thursday night Europa games.Overmars and the TH have failed with their transfers of defenders in the summer. No left back so keep Dijks. Buy a kid ,Wober in place of Sanchez and Viergever we cannot sell because we did not want to spend any money on a replacement.

Our MF and attack are ok with just Younes injured ,and given his dreadful form is not missed. Our defence has struggled at times this season but is now down to the bare bones.And we now face 6 games in the next 3 weeks.PSV could be 10 points clear at Christmas.

Yep, not to mention DMF where we didn’t have a single suitable first-11 player when the season started.

I think we can beat PSV in the ArenA. I don’t get the feeling Ajax will win the title though.

Their defenders are starting to hack our kids down. This could become an ugly score for them. So refreshing to see us score goals from free kicks. Usually its Ziyech who shoots it far away from goal.

Awful stuff from Twente. They’re not even trying to play football, dangerous tackles all over the place. Luckily Schöne has punished them from a couple of free kicks. Ref needs to get the other card out!

A lot of luck for Ajax today. Twente had two gift chances to score and failed each time. Nice free kicks by Schöne for the two goals. Ziyech is quite poor today. Team is doing a nice job of keeping the ball in the Twente half.

Onana did his best at the end to give a goal away but we had the better of the half thanks to 2 superb free kicks by Schone

Meant to say earlier ,this weekend last year I was in Amsterdam for Groningen game.Doesn't seem a year ,hope to make a game in the spring when the weather will hopefully be a bit warmer.

Twente came out really pressing and almost caught Ajax off guard.
Nice passing from Ajax turned things around and two great free kick goals by Schone!!

Wober substituted for Zeefuik. I hope his injury isn't too serious. He is our only left back that is available. Unless Ajax throw in Bakker for the remaining fixtures this year

How did Zeefuik and the post manage to keep that ball out? That was crazy. Mistake by Veltman almost led to that goal.
