Aston Villa. Can’t remember the last time we beat an English side in a knockout tie. Doubt this will be the one time we do.

Used up all the luck in the win last night. It was only fitting that Ajax would draw the most difficult team.

They played Aston Villa once, back in the 2008-09 UEFA Cup group stage. That competition had five teams in the group stage with only one match between each team. Ajax lost in Birmingham, 2-1.

Just come in seen Ajax v Villa ,well I would have put money on us getting them.When the Europa draw took place we drew the top teams in all the 3 pots so today was only ever going to be Villa.

No hope on this seasons form and we used up all our luck last night.

Our greatest ever win against an English side was 5-1 v Liverpool in 66/67.Nobody had heard of Ajax ,knew how to say the name and were completely shocked as Liverpool were giants.That first sight of total football and JC was probably one of the most important events in football history.

Went on BBC football page today and a picture of Taylor with a report on last night.We may be having a nightmare season but our name is still hugh in the world of football.It always will be and we will return to the top in Holland in a couple of years.Just get rid of most of last summer's rubbish signings.

Sutalo is suspended for the match so our defense might be better.

Ha. Sutalo has improved - instead of passing the ball straight to the opposition, he passes it over the sideline.

I’m guessing Kaplan will get some minutes in the next couple of eredivisie matches if the plan is for him to play against Villa.
