Yeah. This is going to be one hell of an exciting game. If we want to keep our championship more or less intact, this one must be won!

Can't wait. Looking forward to this one!

I was counting on the blunderFOOL Job Bulters playing in goal for AZ, but it looks like AZ is going to sign Ronald Wattereus.

Yeah. Van Gaal will never admit that he's made a bit of a mistake, but he insulted and dumped Henk Timmer a little bit too easily. Now Timmer is at Feyenoord (and Oranje) and AZ have a major goalkeeper problem... Hopefully they'll still have it when to come to the ArenA.

Now King Babel's back playing,
And defences are paying,
The price for being absent from games.
When AZ pay the price,
It'll be really quite nice
When the Hunter, the AZ goal maims!

Time too crank up the pressure a bit, this is a must win. If we lose PSV will be long gone.

This game could very well decide our fate in the eredivisie...

PSV will be at Groningen on Saturday evening...

Groningen are a bit disappointing at the moment, but still: they're hard to beat at the Green Cathedral. Would be awesome if PSV dropped a couple of points (or three).

Mitea has great potential as a left winger, he very fast and can beat his man. we will need him on Sunday. Babel is always running to the goal instead of keeping the game as broad as possible.

He plays with his head down and his crossing is shit.

I would rather trust a player who plays with his head down, than one who would run looking up in the sky :drecul2:

This was a very good and very entertaining game, between two very good sides. Over all, I thought Ajax would have deserved the win: more possession, better chances, more offensive intentions and more misfortune... AZ's equalizer should have been disallowed. Steinsson fouled Urby in midfield and the referee should have whistled for that. But he didn't and AZ scored.

Good game of football, too bad we didn't win, but I can live with it, even though I do think that the season is more or less over. We're 8 points behind p$v now and to be honest I can't see them losing nine points or more, and even if they do: we will lose some more points as well.

Another title to Shitehoven - and we can prepare for the play-offs.

just another game we should have won and didnt

take heart AJACIED, psv are playing over their heads and they cant run on good fortune forever

EDIT: oh... and just pile more referee bullshit on while you're at it - we have to be 2 goals better than everyone from the time the whistle blows because you know we are going to have at least one legit PK gripe totally ignored per game

Overall, a very good game, only ruined by the ****er in the green shirt! The Hunter's equaliser almost set up a grandstand finish, this, sadly didn't materialise due to the apparent "need" to take so much time over set pieces!

Pleased...yes. The first half was ..outstanding. Whatever they had to drink at Half Time....BAN IT!!!!!!

Roll on the play-offs!

Whether the first AZ goal should have been allowed is debatable, but we can blame the second one on Steek, and The Hunter should have been sent off.

Both teams were equally fucked by the referee.

Ajax seemed to take the huff at AZ's equaliser and seemed on the verge of collapse at 1:2. I'm pleased with the way the team showed the resolve to fight back, but they really must react better to bad refereeing decisions.

With PSV running away at the moment and AZ, Us,Fword and probably Twente
looking like playoff teams there appears little left of the season except await the playoffs. If there were no playoffs these 4 teams would be battling over the next 18 games for the second place. Unless PSV collapse, which they do not usual do.

The playoffs appear a negative thing for Dutch footy. What do you all think ??? After all they were bought in to try and stop the big 3 from qualifying for CL and all that happens is little AZ finish second then get beaten in the playoffs. The same will probably ahppen this season !!
