Yay, another nice away game on an artificial pitch, just like Excelsior away!

Spicy detail: the day before Excelsior away Martin Jol told the press that Ajax had not trained on the artificial pitch by the ArenA. Why not? The players don't like it and he was afraid of unnecessary injuries. That was the day before Excelsior away and we all know how that went. One or two training sessions on plastic this time, Mr Jol...?

Heracles appeared to be a nice side - they didn't take negative approach and tried to play some footie. They failed but at least tried.

We were made to work for it but some lovely goals , enjoyed Sulejmani's although El H was sheer class. The little man cannot score at the moment but someone is going to suffer. Hopefully Auxerre.

Hope for a draw in the other game I quess, although no problems if Twente win.

Next game no Ooijer so why did Toby not get 10 mins at the end.?
