When will De Boer start taking De Jong off?? I think making captain means that he will constantly play. Today it seems that the only usefull thing he can do is take a long shot. If he finds space that is.

We seem to be missing the decisive pass or a move in ado's half.

Twente has a relatively easy game at home (Heerenveen). Let's not give them a cahnce to extend there lead. Come on Ajax!

About 5 minutes of good play and 40 minutes of sleep walking. It's not like they played a Europa match on Thursday that can be the excuse this time. School boy mistake by Moisander is the difference right now though by rights Den Haag should have had another one. I wonder when the team will learn that they cannot beat anyone with long passes over the top. Lukoki has been the best player out there in terms of doing something positive though some better crosses might have created some danger. I wouldn't want to be in the changing room during this half time, FdB cannot be happy.

The real problem is that this team does not have mental toughness. It has been a problem for a number of years now. They need to realize that just showing up in the red and white kit does not guarantee victory; they have to go out and put their stamp on the match.

I wonder about Eriksen too. He gets a lot of hype but for me he coughs the ball up way too easily and plays some pretty awful passes. I wouldn't write him off yet but I definitely wouldn't say he's proven himself so far.

The thing that really annoys me is that we always seem surprised by a bit of physical pressure and intimidation by these second-rate Eredivisie sides. What are we expecting these games to be like?
