I know nothing about Excelsior Maasslius. Ajax should win this match but remember they lost to a much lesser team two years ago.

Missed the first half but we're up 0-4 at HT. Will try to watch the 2nd half.

Finished 7-2 win , I did not watch as no streams but followed comments on Showtime. Seems like v d Boomen was slow and rubbish ,Alders poor and our defence not good in the 2nd half!!!

I saw bits and pieces of the 2nd half, while making lunch, eating lunch and attending a call. But my views align with what you've said.

I watched most of the 2nd half in real time and then caught the first half on the replay. Ajax looked commanding in the first half and less so in the 2nd. Some nice goals were scored and maybe that will help their confidence going forward. At least they did not lose to an amateur side this year!!

I saw the whole thing but forgot to comment. It was an easy win, neither team was really trying and it was played like a friendly.

Wouldn’t read too much into the performances. vd Boomen was responsible for their first goal as he was at DM and didn’t bother to track the scorer into the box. Other than that he did nothing. I found it strange that he got time on the pitch but I think Grim was resting players for NEC.
