I was not having much fun watching the game today (Dutch ESPN) as it was really very boring. JA hardly created anything at all and I could not remember the Helmond GK having to make a save. The right about the 80th minute the signal was lost and the Dutch "We are working as hard as we can to restore the video" message came up with some Brian Eno music. That was it for the game so I didn't see Janse's goal. Glad they got a win but some of the players really can and should be doing much better.

Vink replaced injured Rijkhoff just after 30 mins but 2nd half subs Chahid,Speksnijder Jermoumi weakened the side as all are leaving and just getting a final few minutes.Jetten,Johnson Faberski all subbed vastly better, Kalokoh for Wolff the other sub .

1 game left in what has been a poor season but 8 starters plus Vink when he came on meant 9 all who can play for U19's so a very young side who have struggled against senior pros.

I watched the last 15 minutes. The second goal by Den Bosch was pretty spectacular, long range shot from a player who was not defended and went in the upper left of the goal. Don't think Heerkens had much chance. JA did have a 3 on 2 break but bungled it.

Reading showtime comments . Nobody happy with Kaplan who was not motivated last week and poor.Also Alders is a RB and not a 6 however Appiah is being developed as RB and Verkuijl will soon be fit and will be the no 6.Alders will go on loan .

I saw the entire first half and the last 10 minutes of the match. JA play the way we expect the senior team to play. Lots of quick passing and fast attacks. the final scoreline 4-1 was a bit flattering as the final two goals came very late a great break away for O'Niel who easily go ahead of his man and had virtually an open goal. The final was a Konadu PK as the keeper chopped down Messori. Defense did enough and the only AZ goal was on a PK because of a reckless challenge by Appiah. Kayden Wolff had a brace in the first half. Ouazane came on late for Bounida.

A good 4-1 win .Wolff scored in 1st min and made it 2-1 on 28mins. 2 goals in 2nd half ET O'Niel and Konadu a pen.

Should be a better year for Jong this season as there are some good players coming through

Giving Mokio a game is ok but Reeger and Kaplan should not be playing for Jong. Kaplan is rumoured to be off to Basle so what is he doing being risked.

Poor result against a side nearly always bottom of the league we lost 4-3 and they had 2 saved penalties. Bounida 2 goals and Kaplan our goals . Ouazane and O'Niel got 20 mins for Reeger and Wolff . Messori and v d Pavert got on late for Alders and Mokio. Bounida and Steur appear to have been our 2 best players.

I watched the whole second half. Typical problem for a bunch of kids playing much older and physical players. Jong Ajax were not all that terrible (didn't see the first half goals), but they couldn't mount much of an attack.
