Ended 4-0 we are poor this season and will finish bottom ,but luckily Jong Sparta or Jong Almere wont finish in the top 2 in Div 2 as they could then be automatically promoted .

Kasanwirjo ,not a regular U19 replaced Appiah at Ht and then went off later and Beekman replaced him ,neither under contract and have no place in this team. Z Ouazane and Kalokoh for Peters and O'Niel other subs.

A Ouazane and Abdulla the only 2 who look like making it

Not sure being in the U19 CL and playing Jong Ajax players in that comp has done us any favours in KKD . Nash Messori Muzungu Jetten all not playing last night plus injured Unuvar and Ibrahimovic would have strengthened the side

Jordi Cruyff is wasting no time. He sacked JA manager Willem Weijs and replaced him with Spaniard Oscar Garcia. Garcia is bringing in his own set of assistants.

It's interesting, the last time Ajax imported Catalan types was back in 2006! 20 years ago with Ten Cate coming in as coach, this time, its Jordi Cruyff coming in as a TD. I hope the fortunes will be different from that disastrous season, i.e. getting knocked out of the champions league qualifiers against FC Copenhagen and the following season got knocked out by Slavia Prague (?).

Watching the match today. Both teams get PKs but Konadu (who is really having a bad match) missed his. The Cambuur penalty came from some dumb short backpasses that forced Heerkens to try to intervene in the box but he took out the man instead of the ball. Bouwman was the first one to screw up and short passed van der Lans who then tried to get it to Peters who then short passed Heerkens. Three mistakes. Attack and pressing look much better today than under Weijs. Hope JA can grab a goal back.

they got the goal back on a nice pass from Vink to Abdalla who became the youngest player ever to score for Jong Ajax. Unfortunately, Cambuur got a late goal off a deep cross that was not defended and Heerkens could not keep it from crossing the goal line. Not a bad performance overall given Cambuur is #2 in the league. A draw would have been a fair result. Some quick notes. Appiah is one of the worst defending FBs I have ever seen. Constantly beaten down the right side of the Ajax defense and sometimes nowhere to be seen. Bouwman had a real good clearance on what I thought might be a sure goal. He needs to stop making dumb passes. Adalla is the real deal at age 16 and change. The other two MFs Peters and van der Paavert are ordinary and won't make it. Konadu is just not very good and it's too bad Unuvar is out injured. O'Niel is a poor man Godts, constantly trying to beat players on the dribble and not looking around him to see where a pass can be played. Heerkens made a couple of good saves but don't know that he is better than Reverson.

Thanks for report ,what did you think of A Ouazane ,he is highly rated but appears to be on the wing tonight and like Bounida is not a winger but a no 10.

Ouazane had a better than average game and moved into the #10 position when the two worthless MFs were subbed off. I really liked the energy that this team brought to the game. I think Garcia can turn this ship around.

Honestly, very few of the members of Jong Ajax are doing well. I Am disappointed in Van de Pavert and Tijn Peters, but hoping Oscar Garcia will bring the best out of them and the other players such as Vink and Van der Lans.

Ajax were unfortunate not to have picked up three points. In the first half they had some excellent shots on goal that were either blocked or saved. In the second half they had a 4 on 2 break but could not score. The final 20 minutes were forgettable with some miscues by Ajax but Heerkens really did not have to make a hard save at all. Bouwman played an error free match and had some good clearances. Ouzane came on in the 2nd half and was good. O'Niel had one good shot on goal but otherwise error prone. Konadu was much better with the ball today. Nash needs see more playing time as he has great speed on the wing. van der Paavert and Peeters did not excite. Can't figure out if Butera will make it as a left FB. Appiah made his usual number of dumb mistakes.

A 0-0 draw but Ajax created enough chances to have won. Having won v Dordrecht , should have won today and unlucky to lose v Cambuur Jong are clearly improving under Garcia and defending is better. 3 games only 2 goals let in , one a soft pen and the other our goalie just failed to stop it going over the line .

2-0 up at Ht Jetten and Vink scored. Following on Showtime and clearly Ouazane is outstanding ,he will be in our 1st team squad next season.

A 5-1 win so the turn around with a quality coach continues . Ouazane got the 3rd and then in Et subs Da Silva and Nash scored with another sub Acheampong setting up a goal. Da Silva and Acheampong making debuts,Johnson and Messori the other subs ( Abdalla, Ouazane,O'Niel, Vink and Jetten making way)

The way Garcia has turned around Jong and getting them to defend better and clearly improving their performances makes us fans wonder what he would do with the 1st .Fans open training day on Tuesday and many comments about the poor standard in 1st training . Garcia should take over from Grim asap.

PS still bottom but Oss and Vittese a point ahead and about 6 clubs withing 6 points of us so we wont finish last. Nobody in the squad olden than 20 and most teenagers
