I hope I don't jinx the club by watching on PSV TV (AKA ESPN3 in the US where they don't show Ajax matches despite repeated requests!!).

Tonight will tell the story of the season -- we can only hope the boys givean extraordinary performance.

- kicked up near a face
- bearhugged twice on restarts
- tugged a shirt from behind
- shoved a ball in a face
- taunted a fouled player

still no card...

Well I'd say 0-0 is fair so far.

We're not very secure at the back, and El H seems to give the ball away whenever he touches it. Whereas Sulejmani wants to be Suarez -- shoots every time he gets it...

Peeters has brought Sulejmani down late at least 3 times now...

I haven't seen such good defending by this team for a long time. Van der Wiel has taken Dzudszacks out of the match and Toivoinen hasn't had much either. A couple of good saves from Steks to keep things even. Big problem is where the goal will come from. We haven't had much good possession but maybe things can be adjusted at during the break. Pretty decent officiating despite the bad call on Enoh's tackle.

For the second half I would take El H off -- he's not really contributing much -- put Siem in his place, and bring on De Z as an attacking midfielder. De Z does much better as an attacking mf than he does as a defensive one.

PSV forced a couple of saves from Stekelenburg but I wouldn't say they are overpowering us on their home ground. Liked what I sa form Eebecilio and a little bit from Eriksen. However, Erikseon was a little bit weak on the free kicks,always ended up sending the ball towards Isaksens hands.

Put pressure on the flanks - their defenders are crappy. Only ref saves them from being red-carded. Now we all can understand the way PSV plays - just foul and get on with it. Refs are bribed anyway.

And, please, Mr. de Boer take El Hamdaoui off - he is doing just nothing.

frankly, i do not get why de jong is such an automatic choice, he's quite ordinary
