We certainly got more than we deserved. Serero back to his usual: unstable ball control, so-so passing. I have to ask you guys when was the last game that we got what an Ajax team needs from a number 9. Maybe it was with Siem, I can't remember. But it appears to me that we seem to play with 10, when our striker is invisible.

Wins like these are what gives championships. Made me remember of typicall bad United wins in the past 10-20 years.

Oh and one last thing. This shithead ritzsomething, with #24. Classic Feyenoord material.

Some days you just have to have Lady Luck on your side and today was one of them. Terrible display of football by almost everyone and then Cambuur get a man sent off in extra time and Klaassen collects the garbage goal off a deflection in the box. The club always seem to have problems when they play physical teams and it's appalling to see them so easily pushed off the ball. Really not a deserved win given the level of play. None the less we escape with all the points and now wait to see if Vitesse keep up their run. One more league match before the winter break.

Player Ratings:

Cillessen (7) - made one good save and had a lot of kicking practice
Ligeon (5) - average at best
Moisander (6) - couldn't tell if he was at fault on the goal or not
Veltman (7) - again steady in the back
van Rhijn (7) - one of the better players on the pitch
Blind (5.5) - really a poor match by his standards
Serero (4) - extremely poor: constantly pushed off the ball, missed a clear goal scoring opportunity, and couldn't hit an open Schöne who was in on goal
Klaassen (6) - really did little other than score the winning goal
Andersen (4) - totally a non factor in the match; is he being wasted out on the wing?
Sigthorsson (4) - how is it that he cannot hold up the simplest of balls? really bad again today
Schöne (7) - a couple of bad moments but generally the only positive player on the front line
Hoesen (5) - did little but was better than Sigthorsson
Fischer (6) - very active and despite his faults he should start every match as there is no alternative right now
Poulsen (6) - on late and had a good defensive header

Ritzmaier, he's on loan from PSV; an Ola Toivonen in the making!

Poulsen should indeed have come on about the 65 to70 min mark,its great we have picked a 17 year old talent on the bench but in games like this you need the old heads like Moisander and Poulsen.

Clearly the Milan game has taken alot out of our players ,who are mainly very young .

correct, should have said 'several years ago' Twente had (and still do) lots of one goal victories.

Twente won it in 2009/10
