In hindsight, dropping Frenkie to CD was not a great move because it created problems in defense and at DMF. Don’t really think Eiting is ready to play against good teams.
Having said that, not sure what the other options were. Wöber is shaky and we haven’t seen Schuurs yet. So much for ten Hag’s 16 starting players—take out de Ligt and we don’t have a back line!
I also feel like our good luck ran out in this match. e.g. Kiev was killing us on the counter in the first half of the first leg, we were just lucky they didn’t score more.

Sometimes getting wake up calls like these is a good thing. This wasn't the worst thing which could've happened to us as we're still early in the season.Tom_ schreef:In hindsight, dropping Frenkie to CD was not a great move because it created problems in defense and at DMF. Frenkie/Blind worked against AEK, because AEK didn't really come to Amsterdam to score and only pressurized the duo once or twice.
