Tactical. It did not look like Oleguer was hurt. van Basten may want to see who else can play central defense.

5-2 full time. Sloppy defending on the second Sparta goal. Every corner kick against us is an adventure. Good save by Vermeer on the free kick that led to the first goal; too bad the rebound went right to the Sparta player. All in all a good match. Nice to see the offense score and play convincing attacking football after the past four matches. Will wait to hear about KJH's ankle. Let's hope it's not serious.

We win by 3, 5:2, and and AZ wins by 3, 3:0. Them : +16 GD now. Us : +10. NAC is a +9, 1 goal behind us.

Wouldn't say that was an ''ugly'' one.

A good win enjoyed watching it. Still think we can play a lot better.Vermeer
saved the freekick well but rebounded to Sparta player.
The only let down was the 2nd goal sloppy defending to a cross as usual.
Sno played well as an attacker. Suarez should have had a penalty.
Hope KJH will be fit soon and it is not serious.

British press or
that crap blog article from the Guardian, written by a biased Dutch ?
Not a great win, but definitely not an ugly one. I hate the way those 2 goals were conceded, I didn't like the fact that Ajax was sometimes put under pressure, but otherwise I'm quite pleased. And who would have imagined before that Ajax would end up to play with an attack composed of Leonardo, Sno and Kennedy ?
Now, let's win against PSV. And I won't mind if it's really ugly, like it was against Twente.

I won't care if we look like a pitbull with lipstick next week , no glamour and lots of bite, as long as we do the business.

HA! I've just noted that my comment about the faulty photo caption on that blog has elicited a sarcastic response from none other than Barry Glendenning, better known for the Guardian football Podcast. That's gonna make me a superstar amongst my mates.

A prety good result.I hope that Klaas will return soon.
It's realy amaizing, the amount of injuries that we have. I believe that
it is not just bad luck.I mean it can't be just that. Maybe they are not
training right or something, because it seems like they are made from glass.
Another thing: maby we are not playing the best football yet, but we are improving. I think that MVB doing a good job.At least this team has a clue about what they are dooing. They are prety organized and the defenders going forward quite often(total football). And i like MVB improvisation with Sno as No' 9,he is not that bad at all.
