Gooijer needs more football at Eredivisie level so hope Zwolle should be a good move. Doesn't sound like Rensch or Gaaei will be going and they are likely to be our RB .Jermoumi Alders will be Jong RB's and Ugwu Verschuren RCD also Bouwman from the U17's looks like being at Jong .

PEC Zwolle announced Goojier suffered a serious knee injury against Utrecht in the opening match. they didn't say anything other than there will some months to rehabilitate the knee.

Sosa seems to be going on loan to Torino ,they will pay his 2.5m salary but only have an option to purchase for 8m .Dreadful deal rather we got 4m now and sold him .He could come back next year if Torino dont want him

Sosa now gone to Torino on loan ,they pay his salary of 2.5m,well 2m actually as his loan is for just over 10 months.Option for 8m but I bet we dont get that.
Of the 2023 signings Rulli sold for 4m loss,Mikautadze loss of 3m,Sosa 8m paid getting nothing until next year. The players we want to get rid of have not performed and other clubs know we want to get rid of them. Medic,Tahirovic,Wijndal, Avila when fit, need to go asap.

Forbs ,who needs to start 10 games for Wolves to buy him ,has had one start and a few sub appearances.Wolves bottom and chances of Forbs staying would be nil if they go down.

Sosa is getting starts but shares the LB spot with Pederson loaned from Feyenoord. Fans not impressed with him!

Medic plays regularly at Bochum but they are at the bottom and if they go down he wont be signed but I imagine another German side will sign him.

Unuvar has hardly played at Espanyol ,which is no surprise.He should just have joined a lesser Eredivise side where he could get regularly playing time.

Agree Tom . Trouble is we have 26 man squad plus 6 loanees returning . We need at least 6 or 7 new players and add 3 or 4 Jong who will be promoted to a squad of 25 for next season. We need to get rid of somewhere between 15 and 20 players which will be impossible.

I think Ajax will have to pay off some of the returning players as they have virtually zero transfer value. Mislintat is the horrible gift that keeps getting sent back.

Although we have the CL money, a lot of players have CL bonuses in their contracts. I’m not sure how much of the extra available salary that will eat up but I’m not expecting an influx of superstars.

Chub Akpom now loaned to Ipswich with an option of 8m if they get promoted. They will pay 1m of his 1.6m salary and we may have to pay the additional 500k bonus for CL .
Think this is a poor deal and still cannot believe we could not sell him to a Championship club and get 6or 7m now.

Costing us 1.5m .This is a crazy signing we are just going to develop him for Liverpool. He has little or no experience but we need an experienced no 6 to replace Henderson . Mokio and Fitz-Jim can cover no 6 against smaller sides.

The whole MF is a mess ie Berghuis Klaassen and Reeger are not good enough.Gloukh appears to be more a left winger than a10. Steur at 8 and Bounida at 10 should be used against weaker sides as subs

Some of the decisions seem to me bizarre. Either Ajax are committed to moving up youth into these positions or they are not. I can understand bringing in a player such as Henderson who did a very good job for 18 months. It is too bad that he did not extend for this season as he was a far better solution than another youth player from Liverpool on loan. Maybe Heitinga knows something that none of us do about this player, that remains to be seen. I do think Moro will turn into a decent Ajax player but don't know about Oscar yet as he has not played in the MF. Ajax have to get real, they will never have the kind of budget that allows them to really compete in the Champions League these days.
